The point remains, Allegri had a better squad than Sarri which you've admitted. How is it a fair comparison? It isn't.
I'll take "the point remains" to mean you concede you were incorrect in saying that our squad was "far superior" to Napoli's squad that year. Taking that concession into consideration, if we go back to the very beginning you'll notice you said "of course Allegri bested Sarri he had a far superior squad" which you've since conceded was incorrect. So your initial response to my statement has since been admitted by yourself as incorrect since now you say "Allegri had a better squad" which was never in disagreement in the first place.
Did Sarri play a part in their surge that year and them being so dominant? Of course he did! But it's not 100% on him and thus Allegri taking a bruised and battered team (Benatia was our top CB with Chiellini making 26 league appearances, hello. Our midfield was Matuidi/Pjanic/Khedira while Napoli was Allan/Jorginho/Hamsik) is definitely a part of coaching and shows Allegri's quality while Sarri in his tactical rigidity could not take his squad to end the year as he ran them dry. Allegri was smarter and a better coach with better management of his squad than Sarri and I think people forget how many points ahead Napoli was from us at times last year. People forget because we won. Allegri made it look easy. He lost Chiellini for long stretches of the season, dealt with a hot/cold Dybala and Higuain, had to use Mandzukic as a LW, Costa was injured frequently, he managed all these things and brushed passed Sarri.
Hence my original comment, Allegri easy bested Sarri and it wasn't because we had a "far superior squad". Sorry.
