If you're in a caloric surplus while you exercise you're gonna be fat.
Net discounting any boost in BMR yep.

My point is that calorific surplus and indeed too great a deficit when in a combination of the two makes you gain weight.

You can eat 5 mars bars a day and lose weight.

Your shit would be weird though.

Nails on them heads !

I dont really get why people pay so much for dietist, as what the above way, is relatively easy, and offcourse most effective.

Calculate how many calories you burn to keep ur weight, detract 300-500 to lose weight, devide new calorie number in 40%carb40%protein20%fat.done.

Deviding is important. high fat makes you sluggish and bad HDC/LDC value's, high sugar gives high insuline peaks, wich effect in more fat generation, meaning u'll lose weight, but your cardiovascular value's are plain bad.

If you want to eat more, do cardio, so u can burn more calories. GO running, there isnt better cardio then that

@Salvo that Maxibon sandwich thingy looks really delicious!!
It is! Love it. I don't bother with Gelato here, lemon ones etc because they are never as good as in Italy.

Only problem is, if you are on a limited budget here, a varied diet containing the right mix is quite difficult. It sounds easy in theory but when you're limited in time and ingredients, it's a pain in the ass.

Says the guy eating two flatbreads full of fajita chicken and cheese.

Well, something's got to fuel my workout :p

Solero BTW, low calorie IMO for Ice-Cream and utterly delicious.

I'm a selfsupporting student, know what i do ?

250g of chicken, twice a day. I buy it frozen per kilogram, paying €5.56
pasta first(70g), potatoes second (400g). the paste costs 3euro/kg, the potatoes 4 euro for a bag of 5 kilogram.

if you buy proteinpowder in a big quantity (order with a bro), you can get it as cheap as 16 euro of a quality blend like mine.
5 kilograms of oat sets you back 20 euro.

now two shakes a day, with 2 scoops of protein and 2 scoops of oat, as you can see, not very expensive. (one of them is breakfast, the other between noon and training)

a pack of eggs ? 1 euro.

french cheese before sleep, 250 grams with 2 scoops of protein ? less then 2 euro.

Oh yes i know '"ermagod no vegetables" wel true, have enough vitamin pills to get at 360+mg of vit c and ur set.

But yeah its boring

Half of your things are half the price here, the rest are double. Incidentally, my food budget it around €25 a week.
I can just about afford to have chicken one a week :depressed. I keep the ratio as best I can with the food I have to hand, right now I'm probably over for protein, fat, and sodium for the dag, although only slightly and a little under on carbs. Overall I have no goal but to remain healthy so I'm doing well IMO.

My favourite protein fix is by far Falafel, a full meals for around €1 can't beat it.

look around for chiken !
the company that delivered the frozen ones to colruyt, got bankrupt. So i'm doing what i used to do : look around for sales of chicken for less then 6 euro/kg.

whats the price for chicken, rice and pasta where you live ?

Serioulsy, Ben and Jerrys is really overrated.
Its handy. chicks dig it.

personally, i'd prefer the same volume, but with a regular stragiatella or dame blanche, not so sugared and not so freaking overly expensive

Chicken flavoured ice cream is the way to go then.
If you like eating with your ass, and shitting out of your mouth then sure, go ahead.

Non idiotic trolls, offcourse realise chicken is delicious. And it you'd insist, its ice cream flavored chicken, not the other way around

Here we have mint chocolate from Laura Secord that is delicious! Very pricey though.

I usually go for the obvious ones like Chocolate or French Vanilla.

Chicken, you're talking €6-8 per 1.2 kg.
I pick up my wholemeal pasta for about €1.50 a kg
Wholegrain rice would be similar.
Chickpeas in the form of falafel are my sexy lebanese chicken substitute :tuttosport:

On Topic wise, Ice-Cream is so high calorie it really is one of those things that you should just go all out and get the one you want. I mean, if you're 'treating' yourself you might as well have Karamel Sutra instead of the horrible caramel cup or god forbid, strawberry....
