So, no. This is not simply a case of the kids being with their righthful parents.

Parents make decisions in the best interests of their child. It's unlikely that the parent of a 4 year old receiving cancer treatments in the US would decide that it's in the best interest of the child to go to Honduras. The child will probably not even be alive at 18 because of this decision. But let's stop pretending.

You want this child to suffer.

That is who you are as a person.

As for the 2 year old, well, looks like the legal custodian wasn't heard.

It's a dictatorship without the bloodshed yet. I'd love to hear the opinion of influential people ie, soldiers, police, etc. Obviously immigration officers have let the power get to their heads, hence the roundup of people without remorse. Judges have remained strong regarding the law. However, should Trump ask police to beat down protesters, I'd like to see how much force they use. Same for soldiers asked to prepare for Canada or Greenland, it sounds ridiculous but if they're all in, Trump would be a real force and crackdown hard on his opponents. My great grandkids will read books on this insane period in American history.

The tweet you posted says he has enough vote in the senate not the house.
But every bill or resolution needs to pass both houses of Congress and signed by the president. Presidents can veto, but congress can override it if 2/3rd of each house vote to do so. There’s also the cloture (filibuster) rule in the senate that says to bring a motion to a vote you need a vote of 60 senators. Houses of Congress, and especially US senate are very conservative institutions as a result.
This is effectively why it’s very difficult to repeal/change laws once they’re in the books.
