Nice one, however they’re Honduran, decent effort on the joke.
Don’t want to break families up, that’s nice of them.

@Seven
I appreciate your concern, no need to worry, I am a legit tax paying American who contributes to my Nation, California, and the public.
I wish that were good enough.
When there is a slippery slope, there's nothing to stop the slide.
Not to make this another reference to the poetry of Pastor Martin Niemöller, but one observation I've had among the locals here in Portugal is how the Salazar dictatorship created a lot of conflicting laws. This is how human societies work. The conflicting and overlapping laws were set up so that any citizen at any time could be in violation and thus have any seemingly legitimate reason for being arrested and imprisoned.
Thus with all citizens breaking some law at all times, the administration was empowered to operate entirely by "selective enforcement" of said laws. Examples were as trivial as conflicting rules about what side of a certain street you could park on for which days of the week and up to what cross streets. Layers of laws ensured that a citation could be brought up at any time to impound your car.
If they found a reason to consider you a problem or even so much as inconvenient, because you wanted to resist the government's new claim on your property for eminent domain use, you had no recourse. And the Trump administration isn't even bothering with the recognition of any laws of theirs to achieve a political goal right now.
So your confident defense of "they won't come after me" is merely a defense of convenience and not actual legal rights.
Not that I am overly concerned for your safety, because mostly I think you're right. But right now it's like Covid is spreading through the U.S. and you're healthy, but you also have no health insurance. Circumstances can change in a heartbeat.
