I've been learning Portuguese for the last couple of months... well, if you can call using Duolingo learning.
You have to be careful when Brazilian Portuguese gets involved.

For example, you can call a girl you don't know "rapariga" in PT, but in BR you will have just called them a whore. Some go the other way.

That's an extreme difference lol. But I guess the Spanish use "coger" to say to grab but in Latam Spanish that means to fuck.

Also "arrecho" means to be angry in Venezuela but everywhere else it means to be horny. If you go there and didn't know better, you'd think everyone is horny.
