I think they genuinely thought putting an automaton who ticked a lot of boxes for the standard Democrat demograph would be enough, forgetting that the battle was for the people in the middle.

On the other hand Trump has Hank Scorpio running his PR campaign.
I think it's time they reflect and realise they can't get by on identity politics alone.

Is be absolutely shocked if it turns out this thread hasn’t be a good reflection of public sentiment
How is your "christian values" holding up? Loud mouth, god loving christian rednecks loves Trump. Should i assume this guy is a reflection of said values?
Or is it possible this whole demographic is full of shit?

I've identified as a leftist for pretty much my entire life. Yet, over the past 5 years or so, I've felt gradually nudged toward the center, and today I find myself closer to the right than to the left. Perhaps it's a mix of the left changing radically and me becoming more conservative with age.

I hold a PhD in history and I'm European. Still, when I turned on the TV this morning, I caught myself hoping Trump would win. The me of five years ago would barely recognize, let alone agree with, the person I am today. And I blame the left for that shift.

I said before, Trump won the battle of media and took attention in his side. When you have power of media you can manipulate people mind.

So like when are all the people being sent to prison or being deported? :numnum:

And what's the Polymarket line on when Vance has to become president?

A Trump win is good news for Europe.

The American economy is sitting on a bubble. AI will change our lives significantly, but not as quickly as people expect. I bought reddit stock a couple of months ago knowing I'd make some money out of it. It has risen 150%. Reddit is mostly garbage. It's the dotcom bubble all over again. We need to untangle ourselves. Not completely, but just a little to hurt less when it inevitably bursts.

Then there's education. I've heard people say Trump won because of disinformation. Maybe. But Harris ran a particularly poor campaign. Apart from her lack of eloquence there was very little in terms of policy. When asked about more complex issues, she fumbled. This is a symptom of a much larger issue in the US: their school system is failing. We've been going backwards in Europe as well, but at a slower pace. This is a golden opportunity for us to invest and become global leaders in 10-15 years.

Finally there's the question if Europe needs to become more independent when it comes to the military. We do. And Trump pushes us in that direction. Some might say that this will hurt us financially. It won't. Nothing boosts an economy more than investing in the military. Hitler did it. The US have been doing it for decades.

lol yeah bruh that’s what it is. Kamala had no funds to force feed us her garbage. Trump worked his ass off and nearly got killed to tell the truth for this nation.

Minds are just opening, and had enough of the Tube bullshit.
