:agree:

All you have to do is look at divide between college educated and non-college educated voters. Democrats lost all their appeal to the working class in order to appease and court the votes of a loud, obnoxious minority focused on identity politics.
Nah, if you go to campuses like ASU and others a lot of the white males were wearing MAGA hats. You even saw it on the cnn coverage. It’s seemingly beyond just college divide.

I think that is the biggest factor. It all moved too far left appeasing a small minority of people thus the democrats and their equivalents in other counties have lost many of the every man voters.
I’ve voted left all my life but went for a central party partially for this reasons (and some others). The left moved more to the left than the right to the right imo.

Results in voting seem to show a global trend of people moving more to the right as a result of it

I’m sure there are more at some universities than others… I just meant from the exit polls it looks that way.

Trump also made huge inroads with the African American community this election as the current Democrat messaging doesn’t resonate with them. DNC has just taken their vote for granted for too long.

The US President is a puppet of the Senate and House. Trump is just a noisy bully vulgar one.

Nothing important will change, as always.

Also for Ukraine. The US will push to weaken Russia as much as possible, then, depending on how the war goes, will push for a deal.

Yep.

Ukraine first. Georgia (again), Moldova…and I hope not, but maybe you guys next.

This is a scary timeline now.
I hope that 5 years of this shitty president won't be enough for russia to regenerate their human and technical resources, at least for NATO countries. Georgia and Moldova are probably fucked. And Ukraine is done for to.

I agree to some extent, but I also think the democrats messaging has almost entirely lost touch with blue-collar folks. And losing touch with such a large voting block is always going to cause problems. I think choosing Kamala Harris as nominee, just like with Hillary back in 2016, is further evidence of how out of touch the democrats are with what the average American wants. Beating an 80 something year old demented weirdo like Trump should have been supremely easy. The fact they couldn’t pick a nominee and choose messaging to accomplish that is pretty embarrassing

yes i think her inability to articulate herself or even answer basic questions is why she lost
I think they genuinely thought putting an automaton who ticked a lot of boxes for the standard Democrat demograph would be enough, forgetting that the battle was for the people in the middle.

On the other hand Trump has Hank Scorpio running his PR campaign.
