None of the media channels are interested in news though.
They don't, I'm agreeing with you.

The NY Times might suggest that Trump is a danger for democracy, but perhaps rather than a single politician being the root of all evil it's the NY Times and by extension the media who are truly hurting the American democracy by not doing their fucking jobs.

We've got two bullshit candidates running on bullshit programs.

I'm just glad I'm not an American so this shitshow doesn't affect my life on a personal level.

True, but they don't want him in power.
why would press want anyone in power who started his career by discrediting the media, creating the notion of alternative facts, so that he can continue his constant uncontrolled lying, then threaten everyone with the revocation of their license in case they catch trump on lying?

why are trump/vance so offended by fact checking in first place?

the press isn't perfect but in his case trump is the only one to blame. he is a 4chan troll compared to most pre-trump politicians. no wonder there's not a single decent guy campaigning for him or supporting him, just some opportunists, conspiracy theorists and straight up lunatics. he'd give offices to musk and rfk jr ffs, why would anyone want that

trump isn't a victim of discrimination, he's the victim of his own words and actions

I don't mean that he's a victim. I'm saying a big part of his appeal is being opposed by the mainstream media. If they did support him then he would appear just as any other status quo politician.

What's wrong with RFK though? :shifty: (other than being pro-Israel). I'd like to see him take on the pharmaceutical and medical industries.

The fact he's batshit crazy would seem negative.

What's right with RFK? He's a retarded conspiracy theorist, and someone who Trump wants to appoint to look after the health care of Americans looool!

Do you mean his anti-vaxx and anti-fluoridated water views?

This is an empty, meaningless term. What specific examples?

Those would be pretty fine examples, yes.

It is hard to think of anything in the entire history of the human race that has prevented or cured more human suffering than childhood vaccination. To oppose such a thing is baffling.

Yeah, like others said the man is actually insane. And if you thought Biden sounded bad, you should hear that guy speak. Though he looks better, he sounds like he's seconds from the grave.

He's not going to ban vaccines. He wants an investigation into them and whether there's any link with autism and other disorders. Now that may be anti-scientific BS... or not, but there's no harm in looking into it. And he wants to end protection against liability for the vaccine manufacturers if they do cause harm.

And according to his website: "He will ban the hundreds of food additives and chemicals that other countries have already prohibited. He will change regulations, research topics, and subsidies to reduce the dominance of ultra-processed food. He will clean up toxic chemicals from our air, water, and soil. He will ensure that research into pharmaceutical drugs, pesticides, additives, and environmental chemicals is scientifically unbiased."

That is something everyone can get behind, surely?

He's against the measles vaccine.

This was introduced in 1963 and has been used in the US since 1968. We have decades of data.

The man is crazy. Period.

Fair enough. Sounds more like ignorance than craziness imo.
Whether he's crazy or ignorant, there should be no political job of any significance for an anti vaxxer.

If we get rid of vaccines against measles, polio and other diseases we give to children, many children will die or suffer tremendously for the rest of their lives. This is not an opinion. This is fact. Proven over and over again by decades of data and science.

What RFK does is criminal. Fuck that guy.

Other than watch a man flush his family legacy down the crapper you mean?

He wants to be head of the NIH to promote his ideas that prescription drugs lead to mass shootings, that Covid-19 was genetically engineered and gives immunity to Chinese and Ahkenazi Jews, and that vaccines cause autism.

Man if RFK was in charge of health care as Trump has suggested he would do, the black plague and lord know what other ancient diseases would be rife.
Why don't the Demonrats then put someone sane in charge that will remove all those effed up ingredients from the food supply and such?

(we know why)
