JD Vance is the VP Pick, the redneck from Ohio. :inter:

Speaking of which, Vance is one of the biggest critics of the support of Ukraine.

"Ukraine is going to have to cede some territory to the Russians"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._D._Vance

Eastern Europe is going to be in big trouble most likely.
I honestly believe Trump is worse news for the US than for your diplomatic partners. He's just not that interested in foreign policy and his core idea, that the US should not get involved in each and every conflict on Earth, is valid.

His opinions on healthcare, education and economics are going to be an issue for you though.

Give it two months.

Remember: Trump was down on the ground and only came up when everything was safe. The fist pumps were AFTER he knew the coast was clear.

It's going to come off as a bad look in a couple of weeks.
This is why I can’t take you seriously.

Empty box lol

Again.

You don't say anything. No arguments. Yet what I said there is factual.

This is why we call a person like you an empty box. Because you expect there to be some sort of rationale, some kind of reasoning behind what you're saying. But there's not. It's like you're trying to trick people into believing you're intelligent, but in reality there's nothing going on inside your head. Hence the empty box.

I don't even think any of those items you mentioned will be our biggest issue.

My biggest worry with these Christian Nationalist whack jobs are human rights issues. Bodily autonomy, abortion rights, LGBTQ rights, et cetera. They might end the Department of Education which is probably a big concern as well. They'll begin forcing their stupid Bible crap into every facet of life. You cannot be the party of freedom if all you do is take rights away, except gun ownership of course.

The only good thing about a Trump second term is that the stock market will probably continue going through the roof. Chances are he will force the Fed to lower interest rates as well. As someone who has investments and stuff, this is good for me. But at the end of the day, his policies are going to kill the dollar and lead to even more inflation.

You’re speculating for something that hasn’t happened yet. How is that factual?

Give it two months.

Forgot I’m talking to a lawyer

It's okay, Hust.

Like I said. You're an empty box. There's no point in talking to you.

Trump did not take away those rights though. You voted to have those rights taken from you.

Americans can bitch about abortion, transgender rights and all sorts of rights for as long as they want. But the reality is you voted to have them taken away. That's not on Trump.

That's different from his speeches on healthcare or the economy, in which he essentially states that he will improve both (even though he lacks any plan whatsoever).

Not really. We didn't elect those Supreme Court Justices. They seem to be going rogue.

Trump literally said to elect him so he could appoint a justice to have Roe v Wade repealed. It was a campaign promise.

People voted for him to get this done and he did. You should have the right to abortion. I agree. But Americans voted against it. You can't blame Trump for delivering.

The majority of the country didn't want it overturned though. That's where we have some flaws in the system. And the possibility of restoring Roe is probably the only chance the Dems have at this point to win in November.

Watch my words.

The pictures aren't 'iconic'. They look kind of stupid to be honest.

I mean, kudos to Trump for having the idea. But it just does not look good. And knowing that it comes after lying on the floor for a full minute, it's just dumb.
The man just had 8 gunshots fired at his head from, somewhat, close range and was hit in the ear by one of them, no doubt hearing others wizz past and is immediately tackled to the ground by security. In the moment he is standing up, he has no idea how superficial the injuries are That must have been traumatizing and he was probably in shock

Most sane, empathetic human beings (yes, regardless of how much you might hate Trump) are not going to have the above response to those images and that you fail to see that is uh surprising.

"In October 2021, Vance reiterated Trump's false claims of election fraud, saying that Trump lost the 2020 presidential election because of widespread voter fraud."

All I needed to read.

I think Andries is looking at this from a European angle. They are much more cynical when it comes to politics. While here in the states, people tend to gravitate towards sound bytes and photo ops, especially "patriotic" ones. Personally, that photo won't have any impact on how I vote, but it very well could sway the average low IQ American voter.

I didn't say i expect it to change votes but that I don't think the response will be label it cringe and stupid or that it will count against him at all lol

But even then, I think they already know how they're voting too.
