But in all seriousness, you're referring to the 24th street station? Definitely some sort of terrorist attack. Guy threw a smoke bomb into a train car and started shooting from what I understand. Several "undetonated devices" that aren't explosives also found. I also read at first that the guy was dressed like a MTA employee but I haven't seen that since so who knows. Waiting to hear more info. Thankfully, it doesn't sound like anyone has died and I'm hoping it stays that way.

Guy was possibly wearing an orange construction vest (I guess that's where they got MTA employee is from) and a gas mask. There are cameras everywhere so I'm sure there will be some images released in the near future.

I see where the question is coming from but I wouldn’t vote for any republicans IN NATIONAL LEVEL mostly because of general party agenda. GOP is poised to follow up where Trump left off and some of what Trump did hurt the people I care about deeply, and came dangerously close to severely disrupting my own life.
I would consider voting for republicans in state and local level, but at least here in NY state politicians are not much better. If Zeldin wins the primary for governor race I might hold my nose and vote for Hochul.

I was thinking about that all day as I watched the number of injured increase throughout the day, but I didn't want to speak too soon. Thank God so many people can still work from home, who knows how it would've ended up with pre-COVID ridership numbers.
