Well i guess we can agree to disagree.

Again, if you and I can agree that looters and antifa don't deserve to represent the majority of BLM, then the same thing can be applied here too.
Yes of course, to be clear I have no issues with you personally.

Sorry, I don't comment much so I don't know how. :boh:
It's easy to do :p. You just wrap anything you want contained in it in a spoiler tag as below:

Or you could also highlight the portion of the post you want to be put inside and do it through the toolbar above the text box.

Perhaps they should. But banning alt-right platforms or any others that folks disagree with will only lead to more escalation. This very topic is partly why the alt-right is becoming more aggressive -- they don't have a right to exist on any platform, and now that Trump is basically silenced it will probably only lead to more radicalization. Plus "authorities" can easily track idiots making threats on said platforms.

Banning everything the left doesn't like will surely backfire in the long run.

After the violence in the cities this summer, didn't several city councils across the country claim the solution was to defund the police? That's nothing but rewarding bad behavior.
I don’t believe the alt right folk who are advocating insurrection, civil war, lynchings, and firing squads should have a platform anywhere.

I don’t believe the progressive far left Whack jobs who are advocating abolishing the police entirely and trillions of dollars of reparations payments and all white people are racist should have a platform anywhere either.

Mentally unstable lunatics should be silenced imo.

You think ordinary people who have for example fallen for these QAnon and alt-right conspiracies would have found them if they didn't have prominent presence on Twitter, Facebook and Youtube? Surely more visibility leads to more radicalisation. Blocking them from the aforementioned platforms will greatly reduce the visibility of such content to new audiences. The people who have already fallen for that shit will probably be even more convinced about their delusions though.

I don’t agree with it either, at least not for those tweets

Pretty tame compared to some of his greatest hits
The stuff that happened in DC has clearly put some fire under these companies asses. Banning Trump wasn't the only thing that happened today. There is larger effort against misinformation/disinformation. They seem to be taking this seriously now that it's happening in their backyard.

Where does it end though. Is it cool to ban people who criticize Biden and Harris because it could instigate violence? That would be the next logical step after this. So it's basically like Chinese-style censorship at the end of the day. It's fun if you're part of the chosen party but maybe not so much if the shoe is on the other foot.
