The “big guy” got beat pretty soundly today by Trump.

this hunter thing is going to bring him down.

And.

BUT RUSSIA!
CNN throwing a fit over the Hunter Biden stuff when they helped create the Russian collusion narrative.

If I'm ever appointed a FEMA Camp relocation specialist, I am throwing those motherfuckers in first for sure.

I thought Trump won that debate. Everytime Trump repeated "well you were in office for 8 years and did nothing" he shut down many of Biden´s arguments.

Biden was right that the republicans held the congress most of the previous presidency but the Obama administration did have a democratic congress for the first 2 years.

Trump clearly has done more for the black community in 4 years than that guy did in 8. Hell, make it 47. CNN isn't even really contesting that with their notorious "fag checkers."

The fact of the matter is, Biden had 47 million years to change everything he complains about and the only thing he accomplished was enriching himself and his family. Nothing more than a total scumbag, just like the majority of the Washington elite.

Obviously I´m not a US citizen, so I´m just making an observation. I thought Biden won the first debate clearly. I initially thought race relations and Trump´s erratic behavior would make Biden win the election quite easily too.

But I´ve realized 2 things:
1. There aren´t enough white voters who care about race and minority issues to go against Trump
2. Money and low taxes are more important to people than Trump´s behavior

From a European standpoint our philosophy here in Norway f.ex is closer to Biden, actually he would still be considered quite conservative here. But you guys have a different culture and viewpoints which benefits a guy like Trump.

The election will be close though, but I think a lot of Trump voters are staying silent in these polls. We´ll see.

Have you lived in the US?
I haven't.

Doesn't really matter much as you can't gauge such a big country through what happens in your day to day live anyways. For example I live in a relative small country, but the lives and views of those who live in other parts of the country can largely differ from mine. If I only went with what I see and feel in my daily live I would be pretty out of touch on what is actually happening in my country. Exactly what happened to many democrats living in places like California and New York during the last election.

But that's assuming we haven't lived in many parts of the country, just like you assumed we get our view of the world from Breitbart, who knows maybe we are much more traveled, cultured, and worldly than you think ;)

True.

I do think that COVID has only increased the degree in which we create our view of the world based on what we see and read on the internet though. Hopefully the overload of negative news and the often divisive nature of digital interaction has made us appreciate real-live interactions a bit more again. They tend to be a bit less divisive.
