sure, but if you cant get harvesting equipment there it will be very expensive to get fire fighting equipment there to manage the burn.

if a Forest is super remote you generally cut fire breaks and let nature take its course.
Right, but to do that you still need to get people into those areas to work the land for the breaks, right? I guess helicopter them in and fly em out when done then as you say let nature do the rest.

yeah, usually local loggers with a map and a bunch of chainsaws. 4 or 5 guys can cut a lot of breaks

Point is, there’s a lot that goes into fire management and that a little bit of everything is needed to properly manage a Forest system

My apologies for overreacting to the initial post. You’re a good man, Charlie Brown.

I’ve been reading too much nonsense from people about how easy and simple forest fire management is lately. :p
Good, but stubborn :touched:

I know

It's not easy but I'd love a job that gives me a chainsaw, bunch of dudes and dropped off in the wilderness with a green light to cut

It makes sense. If you are a mouthbreather it's a bit more difficult if you have a mask on.

"...believe they shouldn't ever wear masks if they have any mental health concerns". Does being a fucking retard count? If so then this is also a valid point.
 This will be on my shortlist for post of the year.

Someone ought to come out with a product with that endorsement.

I thought conservatives disliked all the human excrement in San Francisco. Turns out some are producing it for the lulz.

Even self-proclaimed feminist JK Rowling getting attacked by the twitter mob now. Apparently writing a book about a transvestite serial killer is transphobic.
Where have you been? She's been in hot trans water for months on Twitter.
Lol wat? Oscars for real did this?
Oscars pretending to be relevant again.

ABC is doing a good job cutting back to the people asking questions while they're visibly shaking their heads and rolling their eyes to the response. Hilarious TV.
