Just briefly saw the video and needless to say my level of care is rather low but something tells me some retards attacking a guy with a gun usually means the retards get shot. Don’t worry about it and just keep on looting.

after he had shot the first person and right now no one is entirely sure what happened in that altercation
So he did shoot someone else? Wouldn't want to speculate without seeing video of that but, in the video that is out there, he is clearly not a threat to the people attacking him. Whatever altercation he had been in earlier is over. He is running, his back turned to the "protestors", before he is punched in the back of the head then, while on the ground, kicked in the head by another individual and hit in the head with a skateboard by another.

From the situation in the video, he wouldn't be alive right now if he hadn't used his firearm.

Yeah, only one of those shot in the video died. Anyway, it’s a perfect infomercial to why kids should stay in school

Is Trump really destroying the country? Or is it the thousands and thousands of idiots literally destroying it?

More Trump votes incoming...

Just saw the video...shocking how they threw themselves at the poor guy like animals, he only fired in the very last seconds while sitting on the ground to probably save his life. Not going to post it here to avoid breaking gore rules

Looked like something out of a zombie apocalypse movie.

Not that I have much sympathy for someone playing soldier.

No and I'm not going to. Courts will decide if he's guilty or not. My problem is why he had an AR-15 and what was he doing there?
You don't bring a rifle to a dust up unless you intend to use it. It's an act of escalation, much like the Ferguson police were accused of when they drove in their tanks to break up demonstrations. You do not escalate a situation and expect an outcome other than people getting killed.

They were adrenaline junky stupid, for sure.

The kid may be 17 and has sh*t for brains, but you can't run with a gun into a situation like that and not expect trouble either. Like everyone is going to just stand down, especially in an open carry state.

Is Trump really destroying the country? Or is it the thousands and thousands of idiots literally destroying it?
Even if you don't feel you can pin the blame on him, he still has to take responsibility for the outcomes. And if a leadership failure in a South American country lead to people protesting in the streets going apesh*t and getting shot over it, we wouldn't hesitate to blame the leader of said country. Same diff here. Leadership has a role to de-escalate. That is far from what's going on.

Trollers get what trollers create. Direct or indirect, there's accountability in leadership. Unless the leader refuses to accept any, in which case they are a failed leader. That's what we are witnessing now.

In football this is known as the manager losing the dressing room.

We wouldn't be talking about this if the guy didn't go in there brandishing a weapon. Good guy with a gun, alright.

I saw the video, you have to be a special kind of stupid to attack someone who is carrying a M16.
When posed with a threat in a mob, the mob may see that escalation as something to be overpowered and neutralized ... regardless of what weapons are at hand. People attempt to take out armed burglars and muggers all the time.

And the people who did go after them? I heard reports they were trying to burn down an auto shop. I certainly didn't see that. What I saw was were people trying to neutralize someone who confronted them with a weapon.

Ironic since all this is over cops going after and killing unarmed people. You do have to wonder how a kid with a gun who murders people gets gingerly escorted into custody while an unarmed black guy getting into his car with his kids is shot in the back 7 times.

he wasn’t gingerly escorted into custody. The cops saw him kill people and let him go home, which is in another state. In what world is that acceptable?

Been following this girl for awhile now. I like her.

Unless this guy fired his rifle before being knocked down, kicked in the head and hit with a skateboard all I see here is self defense against an angry mob.

Maybe. Just maybe...don’t try to take a guy on with a skateboard.

many have had their eyes shot out, many have gotten beaten, and two of them just died, didn’t they?
That’s their consequence for being stupid and in the wrong place at the wrong time.

the people that get arrested are let off the next day because the whole “we aren’t pressing charges” AGs in these cities.

Hardly a fair comparison, especially since as soon as Trump was the candidate they labeled him as a racist and Russian agent, both untrue. And in those South American countries, they have people literally starving to death because of rationing and socialism, quite different from here. Plenty of differences, but unfortunately people are held hostage by the narrative because they have been wrecked by yellow journalism or engage in rent seeking. It’s similar to the Repubs catering to AIPAC, except on a much more massive scale.

The problem is professional, middle of the road folks who just want to be left alone, make money, and not see the country destroyed are starting to see through this charade, so it could end up backfiring. The more it escalates the worse it will get especially as police are defunded and people will see their livelihoods destroyed because of utter stupidity.

you know why? Because that armed burglar and muggers intent is to harm and/or kill you so you’re left with no choice but to fight back.

the 17 year old was running away, fell down and was attacked. Unless I haven’t seen the hole video or an odd angle then I don’t see how it wasn’t self defense

it backfired in 2016. It will again.
The normal people that want to be left alone will make sure their voices are heard.

And for those of us in Virginia, you can now assault police and only get a misdemeanor likely leading to no jail time.

@Bjerknes this is the sort of move that gets people’s attention and motivated to get out and vote.
