You’re in Utah, right? Is the stuff going around social media about the white guy firing an assault rifle at police and the police not firing back and managing to arrest him peacefully because they saw his 9 yr old kid hiding nearby true?

There’s a viral post highlighting that in contrast to Blake getting shot going around. Unfortunately the people trying to suggest this is racism entirely, completely miss the possibility that one is just a case of a shitty police officer doing a shit job and the other a case of a good police officer doing a great job.

Yeah. Exactly. It’s unfortunate that people grasp at such incidents to highlight those with the worst endings as a racial discrimination thing. There are definite cases of racism from the police, but that doesn’t mean every single time a black person is shot by the police, it was racism behind it.

this guy was also a criminal, had a gun but never fired yet got toasted. Meanwhile, other guy on meth, endangering child somehow gets lucky and cop of the year shows up

I'd find it hard to believe that 2-3 police vehicles full of police officers driving towards what looks like a kid with an assault rifle holding his hands up and NOT listen to what he is yelling to them.
