I fully agree that big pharma are evil. Add insurance companies to that category as well (they are even worse).
There may well be a conspiracy against HCQ because they wanted to make money off of their brand new flagship products (which frankly aren't that great either).
My question is then why did they (big pharma) not say a word against Dexamethasone which is the gold standard for COVID-19 patients at this point in time. Dexamethasone has been around for a long time and is even cheaper than HCQ. Also, no pushback from big pharma against Z-Pak - cheap med as well.
Forget about big pharma. The butthurt is coming from the fact that Trump endorsed using this drug. Now this guy has no knowledge of medicine so his words were at best the words of a layman (which even if true would have warranted no credit) and in reality, something that should have been never said by the president on TV given the risks, known and unknown side-effects and the fact that a lot of studies were underway at that time investigating the health benefits v risks of HCQ both for Covid patients and healthy people as a preventive measure. Can we even get them to agree with this simple thing? No because to this bunch the whole world consists only of the US which is hell-bent on making Trump look bad. Shocking reminder: trump didn't invent this drug, but to these people, only because he has said something as medically relevant as what my grandma recommends, the whole world, the doctors all over the globe, have put together their resources to bend research and make up lies because the common goal of the entire planet is to show that Trump is wrong.

When your conspiracy theory needs the vast majority of doctors and researchers in hospitals all over the world to cooperate, you are wrong in the head. Not surprising though, they run these studies over hundreds of thousands of patients so they can generalize the findings across patients and treatments and they still get mixed results but one guy has taken HCQ and feels good so it's safe and the world is conspiring to hide the truth.

Just saw a Biden ad on TV. It's only July. I can already tell this is going to feel like an eternity.
I feel bad for him. I think he was really the best Dems could offer to nominate at this point given the demographics that are up for grabs in this election (white independents in the swing states). I can't think of any other candidate who could be more appealing to that demographic (except maybe for Bernie but i still think he would be more harmful to Democrats than would be another four years of Trump). Biden was a MUCH better candidate than Hillary four years ago and even today Dems don't have anyone better. I also don't think Biden was really willing to run. He's not there, he wasn't even competitive and ambitious in the primary debates, I really think he's making a sacrifice for the party.

If he beats Trump, he's making a sacrifice for the country.

Lol now debates are 0 substance, the mental gymnastics, astounding. But you can't hide him forever.
yes 2 people who believe the other one is dangerous for America cannot have a substantive debate. Is it that hard to understand? I had the same thought since last year.
How rich of you to accuse someone of mental gymnastics.

Yeah let's just cancel the debate, right?
Why not? There's always WWE.
I'm not a part of Biden campaign to know why he's not out and about, but this kind of campaigning has precedence. In 1896 McKinley did a "front porch" campaign while WJ Bryan toured the country. Eventually when he embarrassed himself enough he was soundly beaten. Why leave your house when your opponent does your job for you?

Is it a common thing now for camera companies to produce pharmaceuticals? I learned Fujifilm does, had no idea Kodak did too.
Apparently now that their business tanked during the age of digital cameras they are/were trying to re-program the business model into new markets/industry. Not sure exactly how they won such a large contract but I think its something Kodak has been trying to do.

In any case, I don't care what US company does it as long as we rid ourselves on Chinese dependency in supply chains.

it makes sense , film company is in a sense a chemical company. could almost compare it to liquor companies making hand sanitizer
