this is actually reading and seeing what you guys post there in Usa.
Black people rioting and looting, attacking innocent people cause of their skin color and media not giving a fuck cause you know the actual narrative impose standing with blacks cause of Floyd.
Then the abuses going on.
It's just that you guys living there are freaking brainwashed and from a neutral prospective I find it sickening and disturbing honestly.
On the other hand I just wanna see what's the point of non return when people gonna stand for themself or and stop this jungle law where the mob or the blacks can literally do anything unpunished just cause there is tension/rioting/looters around the country.
I agree this is all fake rage. A minoirty might actually be protesting against police but I see the bigger part being there just for the opportunity to steal something and go unpunished. Or to beat people cause they feel "the victims of the system" so beating someone on the street cause of skin color might help them release the "stress".
If it was still a normal country people seeing a girl being beaten for no-reason would have jumped beating the racists. Instead cause they were black and everyone is afraid to be called "racist" they stand there do nothing and record with their phone.
The narrative so IS that everyone's afraid to be called racist so those people use it for anything to get a free pass at anything.
Wake up guys

or Idiocracy will be real and for the record I would be happy if it is I'm just afraid that your shit will spread to Europe.
What's lost by 95% of the population, it seems, is that a complex situation gets overly conflated into reductionist, easy, convenient narratives. This is the same mechanisms behind what makes conspiracy theories popular. Some people are in a greater mental comfort zone to think, " x people are like this, y people are like that. My homework is done." Because the alternative requires holding paradoxes in your head and conflicting ideas. Some people are OK with doing that, but a lot of people want simple, black and white answers.
Thus you have protestors. You have looters. You have rioters. They are all lumped under a single umbrella of "BLM". But that's a lie. They are separate with very little overlap. Each is motivated by different things. Each has different goals and aims of what they want to see. But tie it all up in a bow and package it on the shelves, and people equate them all together as one entity when they are anything but.
And? They don't even know who their enemy is anymore and when you hear them try to justify WHY THAT STATUE they are fucking idiots.
No excuse.
Some people just want to see the world burn. That's not everybody though. There are people who seek immortality by knocking the noses and limbs off of historic sculptures and artpieces, even if they're just d*cks.
Slightly more constructive are the clowns who think that rebranding pancake syrup and ice cream bars amounts to emancipation and racial justice. Some people want their piss to live longer than themselves, even if it's all futile in the end.
Can you imagine the liberal outrage in the media if white people destroy an MLK or Malcom X statue as a retaliation?
Well, one was an adulterer and sexual assault apologist while the other was a pimp who did 6+ in prison and advocated segregation just as much as George Wallace.
I agree, you have to understand the historical context. No reason for a statue of Robert E Lee to be in a majority black neighborhood in 2020
Same as there’s no reason to blow up my Rushmore in 2020
Like the Taliban and the Buddha statues of Bamiyan.
I'm not leaving. No way. Not after the sacrifices my parents made to come here from Italy in the 1960's. That would be the most disrespectful thing I could ever do. If I leave the US, its because I won the lottery and bought a villa in Tuscany
Dude, that deal has been changed. Your parents can't project the future for infinite time. They did the right thing for you at the time. That doesn't mean it's permanently a good idea you know. The balance is shifting. The US is now an also-ran as a global superpower and has retreated in its own narcissism and self-destruction. It's not a good look. And it is not the country your parents moved there for.
Take it from me. While I am not giving up my US citizenship anytime soon, I sure am hell happier here these past couple of years.
Because tourism and mass migration are very different things. People who have it good don't consider migration. No one wants to leave friends and family just because.
The ability to communicate fast and with very little cost should allow us to use resources on a global scale and improve the lives of all instead of the lucky few.
I dunno. Tourism is like Immigration Light. It impacts and changes communities, business, guts economic districts, causes gentrification and evictions. People tolerate tourists a little better because they bring money to spend and they expect to leave soon enough, but that is changing too. Overtourism is real. The worst thing about where I live are the armies of weekend Brits who'd come to get sh*tfaced, scream, and vomit everywhere because they act like 12-year-olds who could never get away with it at home with parental supervision. I can clearly understand why Spain advocated
balconing.
People who have it good do consider migration. At least now they do. This gets to the participatory citizenship I mentioned. Cities are now competing for talent and economic growth with some of the more attractive prospects for taxes, local competition, etc.
Rice Krispies are racist.
Mary Poppens is racists.
Kimmel is not. He gets a high paid vaca for working 18 years.
#WokeLife.
Kimmel has never had any talent. Ever. Since when he started. I don't get why that guy wasn't shot in the head the moment after Al Michaels introduced him on Monday Night Football a couple decades ago.
I mean it is like Twitter? People just snap at each other citing examples of extreme idiots on each side? Recently trigger warnings are being issued too (sarcastic I hope).
You do realize that the role of Twitter is to get people to react and trigger without thinking. All autonomic nervous system. Right?
