It’s bizarre. My brother was saying some overly woke SJW posted on a Facebook group that white people invented war and slavery, and that the First Nations were All peaceful People living in harmony with each other and nature.
They seem to forget that the most powerful nation on the coast here, the Haida, led war parties and slave raids down the coast frequently and that slaves were frequently sacrificed to begin potlatch ceremonies. This is all well documented, and when the first Europeans made contact the other coastal tribes all hated and feared the Haida.
Same deal with the Aztecs. Everyone hated them which was one of the reasons the Spanish conquered their empire so easily.

Seriously, everything seems to be becoming a cult or a religion. Seems like every movement we come across that's aimed at highlighting society's or humanity's flaws and correcting it is unworthy of merit cos it becomes a cult. I guess there's no point in highlighting even the fact that humans turn almost everything into a cult/religion cos I'm sure someone's gonna come in and say "that's a cult now"!
