Nice - so which one is it? Any FBI database that shows stats the DOJ keeps?

Also, in other sad and depressing news...HBO with its Looney Tunes reboot has now banned Elmer Fudds gun. These turds are even ruining my favorite cartoons.

BUT

In other news much more uplifting...my stocks are up +$100 bucks since Friday. Murica is coming back :p

Why defund? Why not just sell the tanks and use the funds for anger management training?

Un-militaralize ze police cuz we already have a military so when we need military things to do military activities we call the military and not the police. That's where you cut the budget for police departments...take away the tools the military uses so if shit hits the fan, use the actual military.

Wall Street is completely out of touch with reality. I’m surprised there hasn’t been another Occupy Wall Street Protest in 8 years.

I think it's been clear for some time now that the US law enforcement is in a need of a reform. It still relies too much on reactive policing rather than preventive measures. It's also worth noting that people's sense of security and the trust they have in the police force is essential in making the job of police easier. Dismissing the worries of those who have lost their sense of security and their trust in the police is likely not a good long-term tactic if the aim is to reduce crime. There needs to be real effort to gain back the trust in those communities. I also doubt oppressing people with force leads to good results in a democratic nation. There needs to be a larger cultural shift away from glorifying violence.

interesting read, but unfortunately a familiar tale in regards to politics and religion, indoctrination disguised as wokeness or superior knowledge, whether you’re red pilling or protesting you’re probably drinking someone’s cool aid
The nuance is these are not pretentions of superiority in knowledge, but in morality, which makes it a cult.

At least with religion, the followers have been mocked for being brainwashed, ignorant and dogmatic. What should I make of a medical doctor who advises against what his discipline suggests and he's been advising the past few months during the pandemic.

some would say he is a free thinker, unafraid to buck tradition

others would say go find another doctor
