What world do you live in? Obviously it is an issue. Not sure if you have worked in corporate America, but both my wife and I have experienced this sort of political correctness. My finance department just had the usual "holiday party" and the CFO and CEO never mentioned Christmas. HR staff frowns upon it because people feel "left out." It's all about being a victim, and people exploit it to no end. The biggest garbage of all is the race card and I know good people personally impacted by that shit. That's why it's even more difficult to manage people nowadays, simply because it's a culture of victims and leechfucks. People throw fits for not even decorating offices for birthdays.
I work at one of the "big three" credit rating agencies right now. We had both Christmas and Hannukah decorations up around our floor with no problems. The lobby of the building as well has them. Yes, the party was called a "holiday party," but I really don't see the issue there. In all my life I've never heard anyone get offended by being wished Merry Christmas, I've only seen people get offended when the word "Christmas" isn't involved.

Sounds like you may need a new job :p

Also, merry Christmas.

I find it very difficult to believe he's that well spoken
Has Trump lowered your expectations so much that you find it difficult to believe a former attorney, the former Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, a six time Senator and the Vice President of the United States is well spoken?

I think Trump has lowered YOUR expectations so low that you forgotten the smaller level clowns like Biden that came before him. The guy is called Joe "foot in mouth disease" Biden for a reason. It's like Obamas campaign had picked him to say "hey if you found Bush entertaining, wait til you see this guy".

So many goofy gaffes and verbal mishaps throughout the years. I'm pretty sure the white house Pr department is happy to not need to address or explain what America's goofy uncle meant to say in random awkward comments.

But alas that same Pr department got rid of a confused lizard and now have the bigger all consuming Trumpzilla to contend with.

The American people have been deceived throughout the entire Obama presidency. Deception is part of the American culture.
Its part of the liberal culture

The failure of conservative republicans, is that they work with truth and raw facts. Democrats will simply label you something, and deceive people's feelings with their moral superiority.

Republicans failed to proper adress that. They'll start a debate with facts. The democrats labels them xenophobe/racist/whatever. They do nothing and continue. People stop listening here, cause you accepted in their eyes, your label.

Lol.

That's not true at all. And that you're using it as justification for this post-factual monstrosity that is Trump is mindboggling to me.

I just gave one. About the black problem

A republican will say the food stamps and other social work pandering is bullshit. That the clinton '93 prison law is bullshit.

They'll proceed to list the steep decline of poverty from 1940 till 1964. The absolute halt and crawling decrease from 1964 till 2010(for example). The incredibly increase in imprisoned black fathers following the clinton bil in 1993. The massive increase in black crime following children growing up without a father.
They'll end by comparing poverty between a black two parent household and a white mom single household.

Conclusion : no institutional racism. Social pandering blocks people from improving. Two parent households are the biggest factor against poverty in the US. The funding should go to improving schools(alot) and housing for black folks in poor area's.

Democrats : We are doing so much to help black people, but institutional racism is why they get shot by the police and have higher poverty rates. Its not that our program failed, you fucking xenophobic racist pig.

@Seven will agree this happens in belgium too with the french part after the collapse of mining industries. Socialist french party : Here, have some wellfare payments, but vote us, we'll fund it by taxes from the working people. Which is partly why i'm getting 70% taxed. But at least they dont have speed camera's tbh.

I can see your point about Belgian politics. I don't necessarily disagree with the fact we have extensive welfare, but it is obvious that much of it (especially the bits regarding the unemployed) was engineered to make people vote for certain parties.

Imo it has led to us having four classes in Belgium really, employers, employees, small business owners (in which I include what we call 'free professions' such as doctors and lawyers) and finally the unemployed. Much more than ideological clashes we have these four categories battling each other over who has it worst.

Promised tax cuts for the middle class are really the same thing though. Different party affiliations on the whole, but it's all about bribing the public with its own money.

Yes, they are especially familiar with science and in particular climate science and evolution theories. Fox news is the most reliable, trustworthy and unbiased source on the planet with the exception of Breitbart news. The "modern" conservatives are all hardworking, law abiding citizens who objectively evaluate the deficiencies of the socio-economic state and propose efficient and effective solutions in order to fix it.
Amen.
