Nah. Congress is republican at the moment, so Trump would have nowhere near the partisanship to deal with that Obama did, or Clinton will likely have.

Aside from this, President isn't all that powerful domestically, but for some reason, Presidential powers are far more unchecked when it comes to foreign policy and military. Trump would be a scary fellow with the keys to the military and the strategic nuclear arsenal.

That sort of pandering populism is a dangerous sign, and it has generally led to quite terrible leaders.

All the same, if he does get elected, while depressing, I shall also find it quite amusing.
Because if there was a time a swift response was necessary, it would slow it down unnecessarily if it had to go through congress and such.

The President can't just launch a nuclear strike on a whim by himself, there needs to be approval from the secretary of defense and then the military itself can decide if it's a valid and appropriate order to actually launch. If it was a truly crazy action by the President alone then they would be deemed unfit for office before it would happen by those around him/her.

Getting up on a stage and saying less than PC comments does not mean he is a madman who is going to order a nuclear first strike. Inflammatory comments are not even close to the same ballpark as actually having your finger on the nuclear button.

I encourage anyone considering voting for Hillary Clinton to watch this video. I am not a Donald Trump supporter either. I will be voting for a third party candidate.

What a fantastic piece of investigative journalism. Every claim is totally supported by evidence and there is no "truthiness" involved

Empire files. The anti-American web series part of a propaganda channel funded by Venezuela. No thanks, I'll stick to more reliable and less partisan sources.
What news sources would you recommend? I just found out about Abby Martin and the Empire Files this week and found this video to be very informative but also very sad. I would welcome other news sources though. Also I don't think hating some American policies or politicians or businesses means she hates America.

The New York Times, the Guardian, the Economist, BBC News, Le Monde, the Atlantic.
It's also good to get different perspectives from time to time, so check out the Washington Post, the Spectator, Russia Today but take them with a pinch of salt.
Avoid conspiracy websites and sheer propaganda sources like Breitbart, Al Jazeera, Salon and Infowars unless you want to see how ridiculous they are.

Her twitter feed indicates otherwise.

How do you determine that Al Jazeera for example is sheer propaganda unlike The Guardian?

Trump is an appalling human being. Even his own party understands this. Some are following the party line and supporting him anyways, but there are others who understand just how disgraceful it would be for this man to be elected president. Mostly the moderate Republicans (aside from Inglis and Humphrey) who aren't far right wing-nuts.

Completely funded by the Qatar government, which has been known to promote Salafism and Islamism throughout the world.
They are sympathetic to Islamist movements like the Muslim Brotherhood and tend to hold deeply anti-Semitic views.

A quick page listing their controversies.

I haven't noticed them promoting Salsfism or Islamism, but maybe you're right.

I don't think they are against Semitic peoples though.

Antisemitism is the ultimate anti-intellectual concept out there imo, the irony is that because of how ridiculously the standardv is set, it actually generates negative sentiment in otherwise neutral parties

Criticizing Israel isn't anti Semitic, but hating people and mistreating them just for being Jewish or Israeli is, and Al Jazeera certainly seems to hold Jews in a very poor light.
