I'm not Republican or Democrat. In fact, I hate both parties. Trump is hardly an ideal choice for President, but it is premature to label him "crazy." The left has been pushing this narrative that he's going to blow up the world, but that's simply fear mongering -- there is no logical reason for him to destroy his family name by acting as some sort of despot. Anybody who actually knows him (from actual accounts) has stated he's a family man and does care about others, contrary to popular belief. This doesn't make him qualified for President, mind you -- but it is certainly evidence against the fear-mongering from the left..
Trump is mentally unstable. It doesn't matter what he THINKS will happen. Crazy people are out of touch with reality. The dude is clearly suffering from mental illness (some form of dementia combined with end of life crisis), and that should disqualify him immediately.

I don't know why psychiatric evaluations are not a part of the filtering criteria.

OK, fine. Then both candidates are unfit to be President. Maybe there needs to be some sort of coup opposite of Erdogan here or something, because this country is pathetic.

Bolded/Underlined part is huge here by the way. They are everywhere and most people around here work for one in one capacity or another.
Northern Virginia is the richest area in the nation for a reason...

Do I need to openly criticize trump to prove my discontent for him? I already have said numerous times i don't like either one. Hillary is on another level. Caught, lied and lied again and again about it.

But you're the one falsely accusing me of liking trump and have the nerve to tell me to stop. Classy.

I am criticizing Hillary because she will be the next president. Trump won't be. Hillary deserves every bit of criticism she gets.
If they don't understand that Hillary should automatically lose all security clearances and probably be in Guantanamo, then they are simply morons. If it was them, their life would be over. All they do is say Trump is a racist, mentally unstable, et cetera because that's all they have. Good on them for jumping on the opportunity to align Trump with some sort of traitor due to his ill-timed comment. But that doesn't change how mentally unstable they are for disregarding the criminality of Hillary and the rest of the establishment.

That's our first world problems. Still better than the alternative.
Hillary as President is a clear sign we are a banana republic. Maybe Trump would be too, but it doesn't matter because the fools will vote in the bitch.

Dude. Trump's delight for Putin and Russia is a big problem. As much as I dislike Hillary, Trump is the obvious worst choice. Russia is still the biggest threat to freedom. I don't know why more people don't realize this. Even the Muslims here thinks he's some sort of savior, even though he bombs the fuck out of everything down there due to geo political reasons.

She will probably get elected and it won't matter if her Clearance will be revoked. They are above the law. Wayyyy higher than any of us will ever be.

My point still stands, any one I know that has a clearance would lose their job, face criminal charges and depending on the info sent jail time to boot. Job lost. Career in whatever you worked for would be over and that would be that. Not for Hillary, though.

:agree:

Becoming a police officer or military officer requires multiple rounds of psychiatric evaluation... but becoming president has absolutely no criteria other than being rich as fuck. You can be insane and delusional and rule a country...

That and he let it slip that we have a secret base in Saudi Arabia in a rally in Colorado hours after his first intelligence briefing.

The "friendship" with Saudi Arabia is the obvious evidence of the hypocrisy of the west. Funny enough, the crititiques still point towards identity, colonialism, racism etc. as the main problems. This crap will always exist and is better/less worse here.

He was complaining because he just found out that we pay rent for our base in Saudi Arabia, which according to the DOD was shut down shortly after 9/11. Which means "it doesn't exist". It is top secret like our base in Benghazi. Do we really want to trust this guy with national security?

What an utter shitcunt of a human being.

http://www.vox.com/2016/7/30/12332922/donald-trump-khan-muslim

"Have you ever been to Arlington Cemetery?" Khan asked Trump. "Go look at the graves of brave patriots who died defending the United States of America. You will see all faiths, genders and ethnicities. You have sacrificed nothing and no one."

On ABC this morning, Trump responded to Khan’s speech. I don’t know what I expected from Trump. Maybe he would show some gentleness. Maybe he would show some empathy. Maybe he would refuse to comment. Maybe he would attack Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama’s foreign policy leadership. All of those responses would have been fine.

Trump’s actual response, though, wasn’t fine.

"If you look at his wife, she was standing there," he said, on national television. "She had nothing to say. She probably, maybe she wasn't allowed to have anything to say. You tell me."

This wasn’t a slip of the tongue. In an interview with Maureen Dowd, Trump took the same tack. "I’d like to hear his wife say something," he said.
The guy literally turns my stomach.

Slandering the family of this fallen soldier, suggesting the wife isn't allowed to speak because they are muslim.

Disgusting.

Pressed by Stephanopoulos to name the sacrifices he’d made for his country, Trump said: “I think I've made a lot of sacrifices. I work very, very hard. I've created thousands and thousands of jobs, tens of thousands of jobs, built great structures. I've had tremendous success. I think I've done a lot.”
Yep, Trump has sacrificed by working hard and building great structures, and having tremendous successes.

Yes Drumpf. Having great successes is a huge sacrifice.

And then he claims that Hillary's scriptwriters wrote this father's speech. :sergio:

- - - Updated - - -

Paul Rieckoff, the founder and CEO of Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, a non partisan group with close to 200,000 members, called Trump's comparison of his sacrifices with those of someone like Khan "insulting, foolish and ignorant."

"For anyone to compare their 'sacrifice' to a Gold Star family member is insulting, foolish and ignorant. Especially someone who has never served himself and has no children serving," Rieckoff said. "Our county has been at war for a decade and a half and the truth is most Americans have sacrificed nothing. Most of them are smart and grounded enough to admit it."
What an idiot Trump is.
