Trump trashed the parents of a dead US soldier. GOP leaders hid under their desks, hoping Trump would go away.
:sergio:

Quote from link below:
Republican Donald Trump lashed out Saturday at two Muslim American parents who lost their son while he served in the U.S. military in Iraq and who appeared at the Democratic National Convention last week, stirring outrage among critics who said the episode proves that Trump lacks the compassion and temperament to be president.
....
the Republican nominee’s remarks drew strong rebukes Saturday — but only silence from several senior GOP leaders, including House Speaker Paul D. Ryan, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and the vice-presidential nominee, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence.

Dunno if this is the financial influence talking - having to pick winners and losers when investing, but X has a pretty strong aversion to betting on the losing team. Talk to him about any political initiative that aims to challenge/disrupt the status quo and he will dismiss it as futile and not worth his time.

Some people are dreamers. Some aren't. :D

But i don't really complain about the system per se :p i mostly debate the alleged solutions to social problens proposed here with an approach that stresses freedom over government meddling.
So you like to talk about problems, like to propose solutions to these problems, but don't want to see those solutions implemented? :D

Dont worry, we dont have to get it, everything will magically change when he gets elected, he doesnt have to have an answer to ANYTHING, but somehow he will just snap a finger and solve anything basic he cant answer for shit.

@Bjerknes, still got your vote?

7 months ago an interview was linked here where we discussed how the candidate to world leader can possibly NOT have any clue about any details about the power players of ME, differences between Iran/Syrian/Shia/politican factions, the journo was even asking soft questions just to get him going, while Trump went COMPLETELY retarded in how he justified his utter ignorance. You were fairly ok with this level of stupid bravado then, I hope for your sake the alarm bells are ringing loudly by now.

Its truly one of the most bizzare things in a while if he gets elected, satire into reality, since it would be real life version of the dumb ass movie Idiocracy.

OK, fine. Then both candidates are unfit to be President. Maybe there needs to be some sort of coup opposite of Erdogan here or something, because this country is pathetic.
Hillary is one of the most corrupt candidates of our lifetime, but corruption is prevalent in almost all democracies. Mental illness is a completely other thing. Trump has no control over his emotions, sleeps 3 hours a night at 70 years old, is clearly suffering from dementia, etc...

You have to understand, the president of the US is not a dictator, nor an emperor. In Europe leaders are more involved, but that's not how USA is. (Sanders wanted to turn the US into a more European system) The job of the president is not to massively fuck up, ensure stability and get out of the way. Trump does not only not understand the role of the president, but he is clearly unstable mentally.

Trump won't be the next president, Hillary will. Her actions directly affect the country you and I live in (and potentially people I care about). By your logic I need to go down the list of all D & R candidates that dropped out simply for fear of showing favoritism.
There are two candidates left and it's a close race. What you're saying is utter bullshit.

It isn't "utter bullshit" when it isn't that close when one candidate is a celebrity named Donald Trump and the other one is a career politician whose Husband was a President.

Unless something major comes out of her emails or her Clinton Foundation, the election is pretty much in the bag.

I still want to see U.S. immigration policy changed to a $10 cover plus a two-drink minimum. :malt:
What about a dress code at the gate?

You really think he will?:D
I don't think we will do something like that. We are wayyyyy down the river right now as a nation but I don't think we see that far yet
I think he has a big chance, yes. The fact he's in the race to begin with shows you there are a lot of crazy people out there. And they are all willing to look past his daily blunders, any of which should spell the end for a presidential candidate, but he just keeps standing.
