Trump and the republicans whining and crying about Intelligence leaks now that hurt their credibility, but were positively glee-faced over the last year about leaks that damaged Clinton's campaign.

Trump literally asked Russia to hack Hillary's email and release whatever they found.

So... it's okay to request a foreign power to hack a presidential candidates email, to applaud Russia and Wikileaks for hacking and releasing emails and sensitive information of the DNC, etc, to applaud intelligence links leaked that were damaging to the Clinton. Back then "the source of the leak" was irrelevant, only the content mattered.

Now that these links cast dark shadows on this administration "the low-life leakers will be caught."

In psychology they call it projection.

Just like how the most rabid anti-gay politicians are typically the ones playing footsie in the men's room with the neighboring bathroom stall.

True... but is it just me, or are the major networks like CNN and co. now very happy to report on info obtained from leaks, when they weren't so much during the election campaign?

I think he means to say that during the election major news networks pointed out that the information, which appeared to be leaked at crucial times, was leaked in order to influence the election. Some might say that they seemed less interested in the actual information at hand.

I'm just saying what I think he means btw, I think the whole e-mail thing was a disgrace and Comey's 'revelation' was just as hurtful towards the democratic process as Trump himself.

Maybe I'm wrong. But I seem to remember CNN and BBC for example mostly overlooking or just barely reporting about info from Wikileaks unless it was to accuse the Russians of interference.
Oh. You meant something else :D.

I disagree with you there.

Well, that too. But obviously the revelations of these latest leaks are much more serious.

Nope. But don't you think Flynn, Bannon etc., have been in contact with Russian officals about this matter?
I do. And if someone can prove that, I think one might make the case for it being treason.

He repeated it again on Twitter just a day or two after....

People said the same things about Trump's campaign promises... "Just rhetoric." They weren't.
I'm not saying Trump wasn't in serious talks with Russia regarding this. In fact I believe he was. But I don't think that what he said during this speech is enough.
