The ironic part is that it's people like Zach and Milo with their anti-third wave feminist, anti-BLM, anti-PC, etc. that empower all these movements and make them necessary.

On the other hand, it's another irony that the more ridiculous aspects of Political correctness, feminism, movements like Black Lives Matter that empower alt-right internet trolls like Milo, Zach, and Donald Trump and give them a soapbox from which to preach.

And the two sides blame each other for all the ills of this world each failing to recognize how absurd and untenable their position is.

Okay, so I just looked up who this Milo fellow is on wikipedia and...I'm a bit confused:

"While Yiannopoulos is gay, he has stated that gay rights are detrimental to humanity, and that gay men should "get back in the closet".[104] He has described being gay as "aberrant" and "a lifestyle choice guaranteed to bring [gay people] pain and unhappiness".[105] He has said that he would love to experiment with conversion therapy, but not because he thinks it'll work.[106]"

I mean wtf

Neo-masculinity/Mgtow is the bastard child of third wave feminism, as the crass language of Trump and his supporters spawned from political correctness, and "white nationalists" from black lives matter and all those idiots talking about white privilege.

Extremes feed each other.

Berkeley pussied out. The campus of free speech should have let Milo speak.

That said, I've been in Berkeley riots before ... and ones that have gone violent. If it's a measure of putting public safety over free speech, I'm ok with that like yelling fire in a theater. But if not, people have a right to protest him but that's not grounds to ban the guy.

No matter what you think of his economic of foreign policy, this guy is systematically attacking all hallmarks of modern democracy.

That alone should be reason enough to vehemently oppose him and his cabinet.

He said that a couple of times on the campaign trail already, even more of a proof that he isn't going to change, this is exactly who this man is and how he's gonna be for the next four years as a president.

Barring impeachment of course
This is so sad. Like really.. he is treating the Presidency as a reality show.

Well that was always going to happen but he's worse than I thought he would be.

I was wrong when I said a few months ago that Hillary would be worse than Trump. I despise the Clintons and everything they represent (an establishment that keeps failing and screwing its own people) but you don't cure AIDS by drinking gasoline.

His "diplomacy" alone and posturing towards China and Iran is going to cause a disaster. It's not any better than Hillary's hawkish stance towards Russia.

:agree:

Exactly. All these Social Justice movements started for a reason... and often good ones at that. The problem is they quickly went overboard and became farcical parodies. And so arises the more extreme side of white nationalism, misogyny, and anti-PC nonsense.

It's really a neverending cycle and the powers that be are likely just thrilled to be able to take advantage of the populism it allows for.

Most powerful man in the World :touched: :scared:

unbelievable. It's like the beginning of a real life "The Asylum" movie @Post Ironic

Well... It was the Reagan cabinet that systematically deconstructed and destroyed the mental health system in America and put all the crazies back on the street... Trump is just the full expression of that. :D

I'm not insulting or namecalling you. I'm making a level-headed analysis on "how you debate".

I have no personal problem with you. Heck I even think I could enjoy myself in your company irl.

But how do you engage in a discussion with a libertarian who supports an authoritarian leader and protectionism; someone who ridicules belief from a darwinistic point of view, yet supports the inventer of 'alternative facts'?
When you put it like that the contradictions are fucking certifiable :D
