I think the media massively underrates Trump's attributes because his presentation is bombastic and arrogant. It's been 3 months since he announced his candidacy and he's done the exact opposite of what every pundit predicted, and even has Fox News and Reince Preibus by the balls, using his popularity as leverage like any cunning businessman would. Also, he's exposing lobbying as the anti-thesis of true democracy.
The problem with Trump is that, although his straightforward and belligerent approach is charismatic, truth always takes the back-seat in his campaign. He often exaggerates, makes up numbers and facts, and someone like that cannot be president. A belligerent and aggressive president would be a nice change of pace, but one who views truth and facts as secondary to his aggression, is not fit to be a leader and could prove to be dangerous.
