who are these cucks that show up in person to vote the day of? I voted and dropped it off in a box down the street like a week ago
I voted early, but it’s not convenient in NY, at least not on Long Island. There are not many early voting sites and they are usually crowded. 4 years ago I stood in line for 3 hours to vote early.

NC and GA look all but locked in for Trump. In Pennsylvania, one or two counties around Philly have only about 20% of votes counted (so far in Kamala's favour). AZ is very tight. MI not looking good (only 30% counted though).

PA, MI, AZ and WI are must wins for Kamala and she's behind in all of them. Hopefully she'll jag VA (looking good there).

She just needs PA, MI and one of AZ or WI and she wins. However, I highly doubt she does from what we’re seeing right now.

We’re about to have a very amusing and entertaining 4 years with the triumvirate of Trump, Musk, RFK Jr atop American politics

Musk has literally come out and said ‘muricans are gonna be in a world of pain for two years under Trump’s tariff plans. I guess they are gonna get what they vote for lol
I work for a utility construction company, mainly electrical infrastructure, and like 70% of our materials have overseas manufacturing somewhere within their supply chain.

I assume the answer is no, but are there any Murican producers that will offset the cost as a competitor?

not currently, some components are only made in specific countries. I assume the utility will end up raising energy prices to offset the costs, since all contractors will be in the same boat

Probably so, it will raise prices across the board. That's not something you can easily kickstart production on.

But it's fine because we all know the importers will pay those price increases. Or wait no China will pay them my bad.
