Fake Hollywood Captain America attacking real Captain America. Sad!

What a hypocrite. This is the worst kind of people. I'm sure that if "captain America" got covid he wouldn't get the preferantial treatment.
They would probably just leave him to die, because he has superpowers.
Guys like him who tell the world how a president gets preferential treatment, from they're tens of million dollar home are a joke.
Virtue signaling at its finest.

For people talking about Spain, this is the data from Spain.
Their second wave occured when they recklessly loosened their lockdown.
Their numbers had gone down to very low levels during the lockdown.

This is why the UK has implemented the tougher rules, more of an intermediary effort than a lockdown, to avoid what has happened in Spain.

BTW this should be in the 'rona thread.

You don't think he has a point?
The president callously telling the public not to take rona seriously, when 99.9% of them can't afford the treatment he got?

Let's instead listen to a guy who has a washed up Hollywood career and now consumes his life with facemasks that have "Vote" on it.
For a moment I thought you were talking about Trump.

Not by him. I consider a fair criticism if it's done by the average Joe.
But a millionaire telling another millionaire that he is getting preferantial treatment is him just being a hypocrite.
You think "captain America" cares for the average Joe, from his ivory tower.
He just wants free publicity. If he really wants to help he should volunteer for the front lines and from there his opinion would not come as hypocritical.
That's like millionaires telling the average person about carbon emissions while flying their private jets everywhere.
Make no mistake if they would have to chose between Evans and you on a respirator, then you are gonna die. So is 99% of other Americans in the same scenario.

Only doofuses think the lockdowns didn’t work to flatten the curves. There’s a reason epidemiologists and infectious disease experts have pushed them throughout this entire crisis any time things have started to spiral out of control. Because they are very effective at stopping it from just continuing to grow exponentially to the point it does start collapsing health care systems. Even republican governors and states have been forced to cave and use them when things have gotten out of hand.

Imagine thinking that the resurgence in cases after a reckless loosening of all lockdown measures was just a coincidence. No, not linked at all! :lol2:

Apparently some people have been watching too much faux news. :boh:

You've completely missed the point.

Probably, but that doesn't make Chris evans less of a hypocrite by pointing out how millionaires like himself get preferantial treatment in life and death situation.
That isn't the point he's making though.

He is saying that rich people like himself and Trump who have the best medical care available to them are in no position to tell people to not be afraid of Covid.

He obviously forgot to name himself in there.
If he did that than all respect to him.
The tweet would have looked much better like this " You and I are in no position to tell the average Joe not to fear covid, because we have the money and influence to get preferantial treatment".
But that would mean no virtue signaling by him so that's a no-no.
