FireFox SUCKS:)

IE7 - is very very good for an average user:) I exploit him pretty well":)
My brain’s mental power cannot grasp how someone could prefer IE over FF. I think that almost all people who still use IE are the ones who are totally oblivious of the existence of another browser. In fact, those are the people who think that IE is synonymous with “Internet” or vice versa. That the IE icon is their portal to the “Internet”, I mean they think that the Internet IS websites ffs, OR a series of tubes :D

For me it works slower!!! I hear people say that it has better algorithm ... but I IE7 downloads pages quicker for me... and is much plain and simpler to use...

I'm not an expert though.
Address Bar -> type about:config

Find these filters and change them to the following:

network.dns.disableIPv6 -> true
network.http.pipelining -> true
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests -> 8
network.http.proxy.pipelining -> true

And restart FF

During the installation FF asks you if you want to import favorites from IE , didn't you notice that ?

Or in FF chose File -> Import

Either that , or from Firefox ->File-> Import.... it's the same.

The import from "Organize boomark" give you option to import from file , IE exports the favorites/bookmarks in a file "bookmark.htm" in My Documents.

Come on:)

My father installed Firefox on my PC ... and I've been using it accidentally (I don't really know its pros and cons)... only thing I observed was it opened sites slower than IE7 I'm talking about latest IE not the old one... Its very plain ... I like the "new tab" in the same window thing (Which Opera has had for a while now)... Thats the only thing I use from it... It is pretty stable...

You guys should know more... I don't Argue :tup:

You should learn a thing or two from your dad ;)

Do the tweaks I shared with you earlier, or download the "fasterfox" plugin, and tel me how that works out for you. Speaking of plugins, the variety and power plugins offer for firefox does the deal for me. No need to mention the other stuff tbh.
