I just watched "Perhaps love"; I think its a hong kong movie. Though it probably doesnt qualify as a musical (though a worthy attempt at it); I loved the acting as it was very intense, and the camera shots and angles were beautiful. I especially liked the performance of the song "crossroad"... Ai, mei you; hen, mei you!! (that was mandarin by the way!)... The singing by the actors were also good, esp. from Jacky Cheung, and Takeshi Kaneshiro as well. Definitely worth watching it

Finally saw 'Taxi driver' yesterday, after finally finding the SE dvd.

It was worth it. The way the movie builds up the suspension and the main character to the respective climax. Excellent.

taxi driver is a fantastic film about a loner ex soldier who takes a job driving taxi's and slowly grows homicidal tendencies towards the level of scumbag that inhabits the city,is one of the al-time greats with a marvelous perfofmance by robert de-niro as the lead character
