I would heartily recommend Maria, Full of Grace as well.

In the past few years (10-15), there's been an increasing number of excellent Latin American movies that have become available in the states. Starting from El Mariachi through flicks like Central Station, to Amores Perros, to perhaps my favorite movie last year: City of God.

And I just saw what's probably one of my favorites this year just last weekend: The Motorcycle Diaries -- about Ernesto (Che) Guavara and his famous South American road trip with Alberto Granado in 1952. Even if you set aside his personal historical relevance, it's a beautifully made movie that tells a great story of his transformation from a more provincial medical student in Buenos Aires into a primordial revolutionary.
Yeah man sorry, it's Maria, Full of Grace. I'm completley lost sometimes.

Really? Yeah the families in that movie are very fecked up, almost unrealisticly weird. I still don't know why he didn't smash it in the end though. :D

I honestly hated the movie when i first saw it...It was just a depressing and annoying sequence of a combination of misunderstandings and bad choices. (did that make sense? )

The whole time, I was like WTF, WTF, WTH...

The worst thing was that I watched the movie on the team bus after an away game to Philly. On the ride home I wanted to study my Econ for a test the next day, but I was unable to concentrate. Wonder why. :D

There's no way in hell I could study two hours before or after a game not to mention being on a BUS full of buddies. Don't tell me you expected to get some studying done?! :howler:

PS We're on Fall break (Thursday -- Sunday) :p

BTW, I heard about your game.. sorry man... I havn't had many successfull away games with my university team (when we had a team a couple of years ago!)

Yeah that was a stupid idea wasn't it. I couldn't on the ride to Philly either, Happy Gilmoure was on. I was screwed!

Yeah the game sucked, but thats to be expected. The other side had fast and strong black guys playing up top. Thats what we get for starting Freshman like me. :D

Fast and Strong is a ruthless combination.... not too much for an average just freshman though. They're bad for people like me! (agile and a bit fast, but light). Big fast defenders kill me!!

I was a sophomore when I was on the Uni team. The more organized teams always beat us no matter how much talent we had.. It's more to due with experience like you said, not much about their size.

Now, I have a bit of experience on my side. I play in the local leagues. The new team i'm on are all a bunch of guys in their early 30's (some in late 20's).
