That's not what I'm getting from google. Most sources say the movie is loosely based on the murders of an Austrian couple on holiday in the Czech Republic and also the Manson murders.

Can't believe everyone hates The Strangers that much. I thought it was really well made for a horror movie.

Perfect Stranger - the makers probably set out to make an intelligent thriller, sadly they failed miserably. Quite pathetic if you ask me & Halle Berry is completely unconvincing in her role.

Lonesome Jim - beautiful little indie, directed by Steve Buscemi. Nothing much happens in this one but it's still a joy to watch, great performances by the entire cast.

Wouldn't you agree that there are very few horror movies where the ones being attacked are clever.
True, but thats why i didn't like it, you could see what was going to happen from a mile away, yet the ones inside didn't see it, which ruined the film for me

The ones who wrote the script were also retards.
The only reason i got scared, and it was before the film, was that i saw the trailer, and it said: based on a true story. If it actually was, then i doubt it happened that slowly, and thus would have made the victims less retarded, but who knows.

blood diamond, it was good.
One of the best films of last year(or when it came out)

I think they actually say "inspired by true events" which is basically just bullshit that doesn't mean anything. If you look back a page or two me and Aaron discussed it.
