I won't bother watching it, then, if there isn't an explosion every 23.67 seconds.
If explosions taking place every 23.67 secs are what make movies interesting for you, then yes, do not watch it.

That's not what I meant you know. Mirror may be a great movie with many positive critics' reviews on it but I dozed off watching it. I personally dislike movies in which the director try to call out his philosophical concepts loudly in every single dialog. The movies in which every second is becoming stretched to an hour.

Eagle Eye, simple and formulaic hollywood minor blockbuster, but was quite entertaining enough in its own way.

Watched it because I am starting to like Shia Labeuf, funny nerdy actor that has something of a Will Smith wiseass charismatic quality in a minor way (main difference, not even close to his coolness, but more nerdy). But this movie didnt use him that much, mainly as a prop to action scene to action scene. Typical studio movie in a way to do, to up ones career.

Tarkovsky's is Mirror though and it's a boring philosophical movie.

I recommend everyone here to watch Lives of Others in case you haven't seen it yet. A real masterpiece.
I saw it three times: mirrors. Nothing wrong with philosohical films.

Lives of others is excellent.

I'll add that I recently watched (after having not seeing it for a few years) A short film about killing.

See it.

The Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford

Probably the most underrated movie of 2007. It's phenomenal as far as lit to screen adaptations go. I read the book a while ago and the movie caught it perfectly. In addition, the movie was great so I'll stick my neck out and give if four thumbs up.
