just watched a Spanish horror Movie called Rec. It has that "real Life" view of action to it like the Blair witch project and Cloverfield. It's about a news crew that is doing a report on the work of a fire fighters crew and travels with them to an apartment. There they get attacked by a zombie and discover that the building has been shut off by the government.

Good Movie. Has some good scares and the general desperation of the survivors is what makes the movie scary (tough the zombies themselves are freaky as well)

If you are a horror an then you should definitely watch this movie.

Taxi driver and Dog Day afternoon are both brilliant. Among my favourites for sure.

What both have in common is the movie's intensity.

Taxi driver is so amazing as it's a movie in almost a unique genre. The only other movie I can think of that is as subtally disturbing is Midnight cowboy(Which is very good as well). The plot is maybe quite thin, but the atmosphere in the movie and the almost a gothic city kind of horror in it is magnificent. The eerie music played backwards, the movie just gets itself stuck in your mind. That, De Niro's portrayal and development of Bicke's madness, the climax and the open interpretation of the ending it leaves you with, make it a brilliant whole.

About Dog day afternoon, no movie has managed to create suspense as that one did. Such a gritty and confrontive movie. Both Pacino and Cazale are brilliant. The movie is both funny, disturbing and very well written.

Did that help you, Salman? :p

So it turns out you guys were right, Serpico is a decent movie. Interesting story, most importantly, and Serpico is an overall colorful, intriguing character. In fact, I thought Pacino was far better in this one than in certain other movies where he just sort of walks around trying to look cool.

And Taxi Driver? Please, it's like street litter in comparison.

Thankyou Dominic:D

I'll love Taxi Driver and Dog Day Afternoon no matter what others say. Both movies,by the majority of critics atleast, are regarded as some of the greatest movies ever.Especially Taxi Driver. But yes, thats not something that should make a person believe that the movies are good/bad.It down to personal prefrence, and when it comes to art..you're not going to convince people who love something into believing that it's poor simply because you think so,and vice versa. Its something pretty subjective.

Martin you do have that actually, ridiculing different tastes.
And?

People ridicule other people's opinions every second of every day and don't think twice about it. You're all guilty of that on charges against m_ellayan. So why are we suddenly making a stink about it?
