I also know it's not a film but I saw Bill Bailey live last night and it was unreal. One of the best things ever, I recommend it to all.

Just saw Into the wild never read the book but thought the movie was pretty good anyone with insight on the book?

The book is phenomenal, it really helps you to understand McCandless and why he did the things he did and why others have done similar things. The guy who wrote it also wrote Into Thin Air. He wrote the original article for Outside after McCandless died in 1992. I highly recommend it. I haven't seen the movie but I did read most of the script, just enough to tell that it is very true to the book.
