I watched two movies yesterday. Alpha Dog and I am Legend.
The one that stuck with me the most was Alpha Dog. Alpha dog is a gritty true story, with a talented young cast, Emile Hirsh, Shawn Hatosy, Lucas Haas, Bruce Willis, Ben Foster, and Justin Timberlake. Written by the guy who wrote blow. Its about California kids trying the be gangsters and what happens when halfway crooks go to far. You'll enjoy it if you liked Kids or Bully.
I am Legend on the other hand is a great movie for exactly one hour and 12.5 minutes. Then its as if the director gave up. I mean its only an hour and 40 minutes total. You get this great build up about how shitty it is being the only human left on earth and when you finally start feeling for the main character the director tosses you 25 or so minutes of bullshit plus ending credits. Smith was actually pretty compelling until the director hit the self destruct switch.
