It was decent. Pretty informative and is about a true story. Crow and Denzel are convincing. Though they play characters you will be very familiar with... Denzel as the badass "I dont give a shit" bad guy and Crowe as the hero who can seem to get things right til the end. Ridley Scott does his usual average direction, which is alway pretty good. It's worth watching as it is entertaining, but don't expect any Oscars.

No.I had been hearing stuff about it for the longest time, but i didnt really bother watching it,until yesterday when i ran out of movies that i wanted to see,so i got this one.And i love it.
Too bad Tarantino wrote his masterpiece on the second try. Reservoir Dogs was a great movie until Pulp Fiction came out. And nothing has ever been close as QT has chosen to experiment in other genres, with the exception of Jackie Brown which was superb but still not as ultimately good as Pulp Fiction. But keep your eye out cause eventually Tarantino will decide its time to stop fucking around write another great one.

Shoot 'em Up!

OMFG!! OMFG!!

This is the most mindless piece of crap ever to be filmed! For the love of me I don't know why someone would even wanna make this movie. Seriously, they must have had something juicy on both Monica Belluci and Clive Owen which they used to blackmail them into making the movie.

Possibly the worst movie ever. The only thing they got right was the name, it really is shoot em up, there aren't 2 full minutes in the whole movie without shooting.

OMFG!

It's quite easy actually, all you gotta do is find some guy that really makes you angry.

First, make an angry face while holding the carrott with a firm grip.

Shove the carrott into the guy's mouth, really, really hard.

He'll look surprised at first but it doesn't matter.

Clench your first even harder and make another mean, furious expression on your face. This is where all the strength comes from.

By now, he will have realised what is about to happen.

Take a serious swing at him, and I mean serious, a-la Rab at Ibrahimovic.

The carrott will have penetrated the guy's skull. Do not be grossed at this, it was supposed to happen. He did make you really mad, no?

Look at him sarcasticvally....

...and simply finish it off with a great pun.

Nothing to it, no?

Btw what is with Clive Owen popping up in all these garbage movies? Is he so starved for work? Your screenshots suggest Children of men standard production.

I first saw him in Inside Man and I thought "woh, where's this guy been hiding all this time, he's great". And then a couple of other movies where he was all crap. So now he needs to redeem himself. :D

Calvaire - A gloomy horror thriller; belgo-luxemburgo-french production

The action takes place in the Ardennes, where a b-serie singer's van breaks down in the middle of a gloomy forest. He finds an old hotel, ran by a lonely, psychologically weak man who is obsessed by the love of the wife who left him.
The main character will lead us into this terribly remote area that seems to be deserted by women, showing zoophile, in-bread hunters-farmers, in a sticky, unhealthy environment.

The actor's work is brilliant, the sphere is incredibly scary and disgusting, without any shocking images. The horror lived by the main character is passed brilliantly to the viewer, who is jumping on it's seat to try to help him.

Despite some minor flaws (heavy rain, and five min later, snow on the fields, etc...) I was sticked to the screen for the whole time. Scary, shocking, but no unnecessary horrible images. 8/10

..

I watched Shoot Em Up last night too. It was indeed utter garbage. Never liked Clive Owen to begin with, he's acting is the same in all of his movies.

Oh, and the carrot bit is the sucker punch. :D
