I've seen "CRASH" lately, and liked very much :)

Good movie... very good
The recent one about racism, or the David Cronenburg one of a few years ago about people who sexually get off on car crashes?

'On the waterfront', a classic. Anyone else seen it?
Yep. Besides Brando, Karl Madlen is great in it too.

Unfortunately every loner-against-the-masses movie that has come out since has stolen fully from this flick. So you lose the context of how much a big deal this film was in its time.

The latest movies I've seen:
- Match point: great movie.
- Junebug: a weird and interesting movie.
- Amadeus, The Director's Cut: a masterpiece.
- North Country: boring but Charlize is always hot.
- Everything is Illuminated: Interesting indeed.

Yeah, the convincing priest. I have to agree with what some guy on the specials of the dvd-version said, Brando is really just the ultimate woman :D.

Apparently. Even films such as Rocky and Raging Bull are really about Terry Malone. The on the waterfront's contender scene is also quoted by DeNiro in the last scene of Raging Bull. Though Raging bull is one of the better films i've seen.
