I'm a Will Smith fan (different from being fan of his movies :D), but him being cast as Deadshot is both odd and also means that his star power and demands will make this movie a basically Deadshot movie. He doesnt do anything unless he is the lead that everything revolves around.

But him and Tom Hardy is what interests me the most, I'm kinda nervous about seeing another take of Joker though after Ledger, hopefully they make this ensemble movie work. DC needs to badly get into the comic book movie adaption scene, and succeed at it. Only have Batman, and rest are MEEEEEEEH compared to Marvels gazilion amount of good adaptions.

I know  , it's amazing how they have managed to pull off this cast . I think this will be a one time thing though , i doubt that smith will sign a 6 picture deal . I am happy to see smith do something that doesn't involve his son , last couple of years he has done to little and generally shitty movies . He has 2 upcoming features before this so i hope this will be a comeback for him .
Deadshot cares deeply about his family so I'm pretty sure they will add Jaden Smith somewhere there :rndh:.

Anyway the cast is some serious shit. Hardy makes his comeback to the DCU and Leto is talented enought to pull this off. BUTTTTTTTTTT...... Joker is absolutely not Suicide Squad material. This guy would never work with them. So I really, really hope they will make him the villain of this movie and set him up for later Batman movies. Anyway, Leto surely has some big shoes to fill.

Man of Steel > most Marvel movies imo.

Man of Steel was the definition of mediocre, and kinda boring for me.
Man of Steel was a real Superman movie. Superman is kind of a boring, Jesus-type character so not everyone will like the movie that much. But anyone who knows the current (last 20 years) comic book character will know that this movie was spot on.

Watched Maze Runner , found it uninspiring , still better than most of the young adult crap nowdays . I kinda disliked the main character , also I think they should have made the story have a little bit more mystery in it , it kinda seemed bland .
Given the state of most "young adult" entertainment, I'm surprised the whole generation hasn't committed suicide by now.

Nothing worse than counterfeit Superman movies.

Henry Cavill cast as superman is only good thing about the new superman movie, otherwise nah, it was promising but fizzled out. Not even in top 10 superhero movie adaptions compared to Marvel flicks, despite superman being the ultimate superhero.

They should used them better story wise even if they were well casted and performed, IMO first movie shouldnt have Zod, should saved it for later.

Fair enough I guess if it was fanservice. Don't know the comics though, and judged from a non-Superman-fan point of view it was defenitely not that great at all.

I agree with the general opinion Man of Steel wasn't that great . Althrough to say it really what worries me the most is that DC and Warner are putting a lot of faith in Zack Snyder who imho isn't half as talented as some people may think . I hope he doesn't take a joss whedon role for their universe , heck i hope that after Batman vs Superman he leaves the DC universe

Watchmen gave me high expectations.
