Yup. Liked it so much when I was in school. I'm not sure how I'll feel if I saw it now though. But I do remember the movie being very different to stuff I'd seen coming out from our film industry.
Ok. A shame everyone on the cover look very punchable. :p I don't mind if it's not different from your usual film industry since I don't know that in the first place. What's considered must-sees? :)

Are you serious? It's even dumber than Resident Evil. 28 days later is, by far, the best movie in the genre.
THIS

I agree, Nzoric, WWZ was decent. It seems like I like everything radekas thinks is boring.

- - - Updated - - -

The best zombie movie is - of course - Shaun of the Dead.
WWZ is good. Not great, but also not bad.

28 days > Shaun

Just watched Woman in Black, probably a bad idea in hindsight seeing as how im house sitting for my parents, completely alone out in the countryside :scared:
The original Woman In Black was my favourite horror movie as a kid. When I saw Radcliffe in the remake (as a fucking lawyer?!) I almost flipped a chair, and the old man sitting on it.

Night of the living dead and the original Dawn of the Dead are by far the best zombies ever made. 28 days later, Zombie Land and SOTD are really good too but they aren't better.

I don't think you can put SOTD & Zombieland in a true comparison with other zombie films, they're their own category really ("zom coms" as someone else put it).

I am comparing them as Zombie films in general whether they are comedies or not. That's like saying i cant claim Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven is a better Rock song than Tenacious D- Wonderboy because the latter is a parody or comedy rock.

I do understand where you are coming from as to being a true comparison but I always hear people saying SOTD is the greatest zombie movie ever when I strongly disagree... best horror comedy or parody yeah sure but not best film. 28 weeks later was definatly a fair comparison i made so I don't see how my comment was really stupid as Soren said.

Just watched Seven again as I caught it on TV. Amazing movie.
That bit where the ''corpse'' jolts :scared: gets me every time.

Got myself set up with US Netflix finally and watched The Grey again (hence the avatar change :D)

Such an underrated movie imo, the musical accompaniment is spectacular also.

Liam Neeson is the man. That was a pretty badass movie.

Taping the knife and brokem booze bottles to his fists and reciting that poem,*shivers*

Also, this line....

''I'm going to start beating the shit out of you in the next five seconds. And you're going to swallow a lot of blood''

master of threats :touched:

:agree: the whole movie was a page taken from every man's fantasy world where they end up stranded somewhere remote, fighting against nature and beasts. some may call it unrealistic and childish but they're boring people who would rather watch a documentary about how coffee cups are made.

I think the phrase or term ''willing suspension of disbelief'' applies perfectly here. Sure the wolves are unrealistic and unconvincing in size and nature but it's the human story that is important here.
