Just watched 'The Book of Eli' - I like post-apocalyptic movies but this one was just stupid, so many illogical moments. And this product placement :sergio:

A couple of years ago i watched 'The Road' with Viggo Mortensen, similar storyline. Now that's an accurate representation of a post apocalyptic world, some scenes I am sure i will remember forever, where 'The Book..' i will probably soon forget.

I get that Poland has seen better times, but youre hardly an expert on a post apocalyptic world :p

Bosnian wars were a terrible thing, but what happened in Poland during WW2 was probably the closest you can get to post apocalyptic. Imagine what Serbs did, multiple this by 1000 and add Soviets to the mix. Our country was a wasteland in 1945 with more than 5 millions of civilians killed (over 16% of our population, the biggest % loss by any country). Cities literally burned to the ground.

I'll refrain from debating "the biggest victim" here, but I suggest you read up on WW2 in Bosnia (or Yugoslavia in it's entirety). Poland was most certainly devastated, there's absolutely no reason to argue otherwise.

First lesson about wars in the Balkans: We are champions at burning down villages. :D

I just like to discuss history. There's nothing to argue anyway. Both of our countries suffered serious shit. I already read about Balkan WW2 events, so there's no need to educate me ;). It just so happened that Poland was located between 2 of the worst mass murderers in the history. Shit luck I guess. Doesn't mean that other regions didn't suffer terrible fate.

But we Poles sure know a thing or two about post apocalyptic world :p, which in turn makes piotrr a legit expert in this field :weee:.

Can someone please PLEASE explain to me why the fucking hell is William Fechtner playing Shredder in the new TMNT when you have a perfect, great Japanese actor in Ken Watanabe?

I mean it's so obvious that Watanabe should play Shredder. How do you even miss an opportunity like this...

World War Z; actually not all that bad, it's like as if 'I am Legend' and '28 Days Later' had a baby, and that baby was a little above average looking and was somewhat clever :shifty:
