Isn't the new bond supposed to be like this? More of a down to earth street thug guy then the epic Sean Connery? At least that's my impression. You would definetly wouldn't see Sean do most of the stuff this new wannabe is doing.

The Craig Bond films are supposed to be more realistic.

The hot Bond girl that he raped wasn't in the movie for long enough though.

Even if they're trying to make it more plausible, they're failing badly.

Yep, indeed, its been interesting following his career, nice steady stream of roles that kept getting better and better. Its funny to realize he is the same dude who did... :D

:D

Wasn't too impressed with his role in premium rush though, then again it wasn't meant to take to seriously.

Yep, ruined the entire movie.

Watched Lawless. Fantastic effort.
For real.:D

I'm also enjoying Tom Hardy's latest roles. Lawless was pretty good.

Premium rush was quite bad-ish movie yeah. He is now starting in doing movies where he is the A-list choice, so I wouldnt be suprised if he does big studio flicks of questionable quality now and then.

In my opinion he is the most talented amongst the younger generation of actors (Lewitt, Gosling etc). If he avoids the rom coms (FFS) and keeps up picking roles like he's done so far - he's going to be rocking hollywood in 5 years time.

It's the christopher nolan touch.

Not sure if he's the most talented but he's got some good range. With him building up his physique, it looks like he'll be the leading man for many big action movies.

His performance in Bronson was mind blowing, still his best role imo.

I hope he doesn't go down the action movie path, would be a waste.

Bah , if trains falling over bond , him jumping from a carriage to another and perfectly landing (the scene which also is on the trailer) , getting shot and falling from who knows how high without dying is real , well let's say they've got a bad concept of realism .

Also the most laughable part was bond after jumping from a rock , while he is on the air , i don't know how and what secret martial arts technique he used , but manages to break the neck of one of the bad guys , seriously it's fucking incredible , he just seems like he steps on his neck than his neck goes crack . I saw the replay 5 times and still didn't understand what happened and through the movie bond doesn't fight like a trained guy while at the end he pulls out this move out of his ass

Mad Max isnt just an action role, its pretty good role for a character actor too, considering he is bit of an anti-hero character. If done seriously atleast.
