i think it worked just fine. And I can only speak on behalf of those hollywood movies that I've seen, simply stating that there are tons of good ones won't do much good :D .

Not gonna hate on Top Gun (its unintentionally hilarious movie), but how can you even consider watching it over the good the bad and the ugly? I mean couple of Eli Wallachs scenes alone is more memorable, let alone Clint's.

Because different moods strike. Oh and don't be like that. If there are good hollywood movies being produced at the moment you better drop a few names. You can't be all like "i know where we can get weed for free" and then sit down like nothing happened.

I'm not holding into gems, I just find Prometheus to be an so-so average film, hence I'm not holding into names of gems I seen lately. Most Top hollywood movies I seen in last years are better.
