How can it be pretentious when it caters to almost every cliche in modern hollywood? :p I found it entertaining, especially the slightly different take on how a post apocalypse society could look like. I'm tired of barren ice / desert and their counterpart the exotic jungle planet.

Just saw "The 5 year engagemente" , i am not usually for romantic comedies since they are usually bad , but this one was funny . The first 30-40 minutes were fantastic , after it got a little less entartaining , if it could continue with the same pace as the first half hour it would have been hands down the best comedy i have seen this year . Also it was a bit longer than needed

The Avengers: I enjoyed it. Although I must admit that when the Captain's shield, Iron Man's suit and the Hulk's skin are impenetrable, there's not really much standing in their way.
At least they get tossed around a bit in order to show a tad bit of struggle.

I watched that last night and thought pretty much the same.

So among the 3 of Lock, Stock & S.B., which was the best?
    :howler: You so funny.

It was sick, yes. But you gotta admit that when your heroes are impenetrable by intergalactic weapons, big ass monsters and literally falling from space, they can beat anything. It's only a matter of time.
That's how all superhero movies are tbh. You didn't think they were going to win or something?
