I haven't posted in here since my radical views on 'The Hangover' series got me shunned

I watched 'Godfather III' last night.

Its a great film (ignoring sofia) if you view it seperatley from the other the other two. The first were fucking fantastic, two of the best films in cinema history for their narative construction and how you get immersed in the films world. The character construction makes you really care about firstly the characters and how the plot is developing. With the third one i didn't relate to any of the characters until the end, even though it was awfully acted....it was still a powerful scene. (didn't want to put in a spoiler)

Still as a film its alright....just pretend is has nothing to with the first two.

andy garcia is overrated, he cant be the successor of pacino and brando. i hate the film beside the scene where pacino is in the kitchen and says " Just when I thought I was out... they pull me back in "

Well said, compared to 1 and 2 it's terrible, but compared to all other movies its fine, too much bad acting, specially copolla and garcia.. and the guy who did joey zasa was too annoying, but the old gang from parts 1 and 2 in their old age were too good, also michael's daughter death scene was an al pacino masterpiece,, but even that check it again it had an awful mistake, andy garcia hair is gel'd and fine then it gets messed up after she's shot! also he shouts "NO!" while he's walking beside michael and his mouth isn't even open :/

I watched "Magnolia", my second Paul T Anderson movie. I think his movies in general just leave me dumbfounded and it's just - I don't know what was the point he was going for. Apparently plenty of biblical references in his movies too which I may not be well versed on. The cast singing while it's raining AND raining frogs wwere just - what's he trying to say?

It took me forever, but I finally saw Exit Through the Gift Shop. Good flick. And it's funny because I remember seeing all the Banksy art in town here when the movie was being promoted. But I have to join the group that says, "Real people, faked artistic talent" when it comes to MBW.

I liked that scene in the movie. I interpreted it as saying, "What would a biblical plague look like in our time?" It was a bit heavy-handed, but that's a brilliant film and the event did not come to matter much in the film anyway except as the marking of a catalyst.

yeah, I liked how the weather description practically spelled out the movie with the beginning and climax. but to be honest the cast singing kinda spoiled it for me, it was fine until then. even if the frogs were there to prove a point, or following your train of thought - what was he trying to convey from the whole movie itself? I vaguely remember it now but what? redemption?
