I also watched Waiting, it was good but kind of hard to follow up on Adventureland. I also didn't like the fact I saw a little of myself in Justin Long's character, mainly because of the fact I doubt I'll ever quit and decide to do something with my life. :D But yeah, some of those scenes were like copies from my personal life. :D

Yeah, Waiting is not a brilliant film. But it is surprisingly funny.

And the highlighted part sounds very familiar to me as well. But I have decided to continue living in denial for the time being :D

watched "the truman show" for the first time yesterday...nothing so fancy about it...i won't watch it again.
No way!
give it another chance, it's pretty interesting actually but not easy to get from one time

I cried towards the end of Truman Show. Especially when he says "..and in case I don't see ya, goodafternoon, goodevening and goodnight." :touched:
and this one scene when his bestfriend tells him 'I'd never lie to you' while he's receiving lines from the director!
then the next scene he meets his paps

ah it's just heartbreaking

Meet Bill, it is obvious that wasnt a masterpiece but definitely worth to watch, Aaron Eckhart's mimics and his harmony with the kid (Logan Lerman) was lovely, he was good indeed at characterizing the miserable Bill:beer: i enjoyed a lot.

Funny Games U.S.

Meh, don't know what to say. It's good if you're into the whole art-house film and all, bit too much for me personally. Fucked up and weird movie.

Have you seen the original, Vlatko?

The US version is pretty much an exact copy, yet not even close to being as good.
I thought the original one felt really true & uncomfortable and it had a strong message, whereas the US update feels forced.

One of the most unnecessary remakes in the history of cinema if you ask me.

Nah, didn't see it. I knew it was a remake but what's weird is the fact the same director remade it, exact same film with different actors and different language. I'd get it if it was another director wanting to bring the film to American audiences but this was just weird. :D

Doubt I'm gonna check out the original as this one didn't actually blew me away.

Afaik, the reason he remade it was because American audiences didn't see his original & subsequently didn't get his "message". Don't know if many (American) people ended up bothering to see the remake though.

The remake didn't do anything for me either, so I can immagine you're not goint to watch the original. But when I first saw said original, I was completely blown away.

What do you think about Iron Man 2? I watched it in cinema and was disapointed the action sequences had no flair and there was too much drama. Also Warmachine's actions were pusling and unloyal, I don't understand why they chose to portray him in such a way. The only plus sides are Robert Downey jr. acting and the gorgeous Gwyneth Paltrow.
