District 9: Good watch, I liked how the director tried to point out on racism being a disease killing humanity. Also pretty good effects as a whole yet the story is too fictional.

Oh and the setting being Johannesburg certainly gives a plus to the movie, enough of California already

In The Loop - Really good movie. Extremely funny at times & you do get the feeling that it's not too far from the truth either.



And for the record: I am usually annoyed by McConaughey as well, but he does have a few decent movies.

I'd say that about 80 or 90% of the movies I watch are dvd's (either bought, rented or borrowed from friends).

I rarely watch bluray's. Right now, it's just not worth the extra cost for me.

Sherlock Holmes: An hour and a half completely wasted, the action was terrible and the plot itself was ridiculous I was expecting a much better one considering it was a character such as the all famous Holmes that the movie talks about, but they opted for a magic dull ridiculous story.

Anyway, Jude law was class as usual one of the few bright spots in this movie while Robert Downey Jr sucked big time. In few words, If you haven't watched this movie you won't have missed anything.
