Honestly, I’m not that excited for this as i know they are ruining great franchises at remaking old stories and just some way to make the story modern and diverse. Yet it's amazing to get to relive the magic as an adult. I'm more excited to see CGI effects on the movies.

wish they gave the franchise to the people at insidious. they know how to world build while creating a terrifying movie

even a quiet place people would be good choice to take over. they did 3 alien movies of their own.

Even the trailer is a mess. It's too dragged out, and they should have shown enough to integrate better.

Usually dig up old franchises and remake a new version doesn't go well. Matrix, LOTR, Terminator and Cinderella are proof of that.
