It was a good film, but there are far better films out there that do the same thing. Im a bit of a sucker for anything with bale in it. After i saw American Psycho it was love at first sight :heart2:

lack of a decent plot for a start...was more of a documentary than an original film.

Taye Diggs for a start...wasn't a bad film, I felt it was a bit hurried and ended too abruptly.

Such a lively novel. I read the novel before watching the movie and I'm really grateful about it. The movie doesn't live up to the level of the novel IMO but it's always nice to watch a movie you've already read the novel of.

that's generally like that,adapted movies dont give the same taste like novel (except LOTR ) cos' you watch a different imagination than yours.

Watch Sense and Sensibility if you haven't yet :smile:

Fair enough, i always say that 'Brazil' is the best distopian thriller. Equilibrium is more or less what if the Matrix happened in a grey distopian future, as opposed to a green and brown computer program. although the Gun Kata thing was badass.

I saw Alien and Aliens yesterday, after a long time. Wow, they really don't make sf/horror like they used to. Now it's all about the blood and gore, no suspense, no essence.

It's pretty good, one of the better films last year, most def.
