I've watched some (below) average rom-coms this weekend.

Ghost Of Girlfriends Past - it was OK to view once. Jennifer Garner has grown old and doesn't look like much nowadays.
Love Happens - Possibly the best of the lot. Jenn Aniston FTW, fuck Angelina.
Couples Retreat - Vince Vaughn is always fun, but this one was meh, it can pass. Malin Akerman was so-so in this one. Overall, the best thing about the movie was the scenery, some tropical island.
Bride Wars - horrible. Kate Hudson is :inter:

That's what I used to think as well. And then I watched Fred Claus :sergio:

Up - Very beautiful movie. Pretty touching, but funny as well. I just loved Kevin, even though Kevin was a girl :D. Definitely Pixar's finest movie in a long, long time.
Squirrel!

I never wanted to watch that one, because the plot seems so retarded.

Hit me up with some good newer rom-coms, if you can think of of some. Lately there's been a lo of disappointments.

I thought Up was very, very boring and the kid was too annoying. Then again I couldn't get through WALL-E, which everyone raves about, so maybe it's just me. Pixar is disappointing me lately.

Up is not boring
I guess I was just in the right mood to watch it.
And it had been a long time since I was this impressed with a Pixar movie. Wall-E was fine but nothing more (no repeat viewing for me), Ratatouille was only decent, Cars was disappointing, not a fan of Finding Nemo.

About the good recent romcoms. That's a tough question, man.

You've probably already seen Forgetting Sarah Marshall, which is probably the finest to come out recently.

Others I can think of & that were pretty enjoyable: Cashback ; Just Friends ; Knocked Up ; Spanglish ; Along Came Polly ; In Good Company ; Hitch ; The Last Kiss ; The Upside of Anger

Looks like the question didn't turn out to be that tough :D

Sarah Marshall was great, yeah. Definitely one of the best in a while and Mila Kunis is just. :lick:

I've seen all of the others. :D Except Cashback, Spanglish and Upside Of Anger so thanks. :excited:

Out of the lot, In Good Company and The Last Kiss were the one I enjoyed most.

I'm gonna have to agree with that :D

See, I really don't know what it is about The Last Kiss, but I kinda fell in love with that movie when I watched it. I realize that it's just a by the numbers romantic (chick) flick, definitely nothing special, but it just works.
May have something to do with Bilson's cuteness :D
